This cottage is very charming and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette is comfortable and functional. The furniture is laid out beautifully for easy access to office space, eating area, living room and bedroom. More than adequate storage for clothing and belongings. The bathroom is quite spacious and has a nice shower. It is at the dead end of a quiet, private community street. Convenient parking for one car. There is foot access to the local bike trail which can get you into the local town (an hour walk or 30 min bike ride) where there are many interesting locations to explore. There is an amplitude of local activities to be explored and finding everything needed was convenient. There are coffee shops and restaurants within a mile. And if you don't drive or like exercise you can walk to the local bus stop which will get you anywhere you need to go. Robin and Nancye are very attentive and gracious. Their property is beautifully landscaped for your viewing pleasure. Anytime, I had a need it was met promptly. They were so kind and even brought things that they thought would make my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. And although they are right across the driveway, I never felt like they were imposing on my privacy. Local hospitals are within 20 min to an hour drive for nurses. The traffic is rarely congested and even when the snow flew they are well maintained. I needed a rental for a travel nurse assignment as well as the need to be near family in the local hill towns. The Hodgkinsons accommodations made this convenient and comfortable. I was able to get to work without any difficulties as well as enjoy local festivals and the outdoors with family and friends. I would not hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area for work and pleasure.
