This is a large Victorian home on the corner of a lovely park, with a small, landscaped yard. I bought the house last year and renovated it myself, so the bathrooms and kitchen are new, with high-end fixtures, but look like they're old to match the house. We just got a 50" Sony TV, which is in the living room, where we like to watch together sometimes, but you can close the pocket doors and have some privacy when you want.

Space

Beautiful, large room with walk-in closet and built-in wardrobe, antique full-size bed with quality mattress, and two big windows that look out on the side yard and garden. Newly renovated bathroom with large shower with handheld and fixed shower heads next to the room is mostly yours, although we may use it occasionally.

Neighborhood overview

Surrounding lovely Currier Park, this is a historic neighborhood in the center of Barre. You get the best of both worlds with backcountry trails you can walk to in one direction and shops and restaurants you can walk to in the other. The neighbors are very kind and friendly, and the place really comes alive in the summer. Barre is right next to Montpelier, our little state capital, which offers everything else you might need.
