We are located on a beautiful small organic farm in Franklin Maine, not far from Ellsworth and Bar Harbor medical facilities. The land abuts the Sunrise trail, so in your off time, you can enjoy hiking, biking or skiing on the trail or the many trails off of it. When the ice is good, the skating is great on Little Horseshoe pond about a 15 minute walk away. Our dog Cayenne is very friendly and will take walks with you if you ...

This is a cozy fully insulated bungalow, heated with a monitor heater. Full kitchen (half fridge) Water is carried in for dishes and cooking in cold months, shower and laundry are in the main house. We have fast wifi! There is a compost toilet on the back porch.
