The house sits on an incline below the surface street, You have a great view of the street from the window in the living area, as well as, the light from the dining area. Makes for a bright and well lit living area. There is a spacious backyard behind the house with a row of Cypress trees as the backdrop, separating the neighbors property to the back.

Each TV Smart comes with plenty apps (Netflix; Hulu; ESPN, etc.) for streaming; there is also, an antenna for local and area channels.

Space

Although renting a room, you will have access to the bathroom, kitchen and washing machine. However, I do not have a clothes dryer. There are cleaning supplies, or you can express your desire for a cleaning service. Utilities, internet are included. One person can stay comfortably. It is great for those who enjoy peace and quiet and alone time. We can discuss your needs, I am willing to be flexible.

You have the Montebello Town Center mall which is 0.4 miles, and is a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute leisurely walk. Down the street on San Gabriel Boulevard is a Mc Donald's; a Jack'n the Box and Kami's Buffet, as well as, a Denny's - all within a 5 - 10 minute walking distance; there is also a gas station conveniently placed between Kami's Buffet and Denny's.

    I am a recently retired teacher. I wish to travel on ocassions for an extended period. Generally, for 1 to 3 months. I love to spend as much time with my children and grandchildren as possible. I enjoy peace and quiet, which is what I like about the street I live on. It is quiet and has very little traffic. I am close to walking paths, and an expansive, soothing and very beautiful lake - Legg Lake. I love being in nature. Montebello Shopping mall is within an 8 minute walk (0.5 mi).
