I'd give 0 stars if possible. This experience was the worst I've ever experienced in my years of traveling. They lied on the post, their review [of me], and the reported case- despite me having documented proof of all. I had an extensive report with them through the site. I also have an open police report. This owner does not regard the safety of travelers- there were multiple people coming in and out of the unit [never notified of] both while I was there asleep and just randomly when I came back to the home (again on multiple occasions). My favorite instance of this, was when a lovely man who claims to be her "brother" was on the phone with while creepily watching me sleep [during the as I worked nights] and reporting it to her. She insinuated I was trying to scam her on multiple occasions, and then went on to leave out all details in her story. By the time she had finally decided to reach out to furnished finder, I had an extensive case- including photos of all communication, the "lease"* photos of cameras, etc. I cannot stress enough for all travelers to beware. They shouldn't even be allowed on the platform at all- hopefully when the police finish intervieneing, they wont. * she doesn't even utilize a real lease, and doesn't like any form of actual legal documents

Deja, you have made serious accusations and sent multiple texts about your Stay. I am just seeing your Review on 5/25/2025 so after multiple emails with FF, I have realized it is better to have an Empty Room than have a troublesome Tenant stay in my Peaceful home. I wish you peace and glad you are out of my home. The Truth will always come out. With that said, here is my response to these accusations: You emailed back twice (4/7/2025 and 4/15/2025) which also stated Cameras in and on Property) & after reading the FF Ad which clearly states Cameras in & on the Property. You replied " I'm still interested". You have a low credit score and could not pay the First Month's rent of $850.00. I allowed you to pay $500.00 security via Zelle (4/26/2025) and then you texted asking if you could pay $500 upfront via Zelle and then the remaining balance on Friday 5/1/2025 since you had to buy another plane ticket.. when you arrived 4/26/2025. 5/1/2025 came and no remaining first month's rent balance was sent. I texted, Zelle requested the balance of $350 + $25 late fee. You said Zelle had a limit. You then texted me asking for my email address which I gave, then you PayPal the remaining. The agreement was Zelle not PayPal. Re: random people, on 4/26/2025 I texted you "another Tenant may still be there (X) ________ ) and my brother may arrive later that night BUT WOULD NOT BE STAYING.. you texted " Ok, cool, maybe they will be up so I can get a chance to meet them". Do you Not remember texting this?? After you had to be texted to pay the balance of the FIRST MONTH'S RENT, you stopped replying to my texts. Remember you were only renting a Room in a House but had relative access to the Entire House. " Random people" were technicians that needed access to the Property. You were given as much notice and either you didn't see text or chose not to respond. That is crazy to say, "random", if they entered , THEY HAD A VIVINT CODE just like you chose your Code 0909 your birth month and your birthdate. Re: "a man watching you while you slept claiming to be my Brother" You texted me that you went out to Eat, came back and you saw a bag and shoes", which is it? You were sleeping or you went out to Eat? Additionally, you were texted by me that the Cleaning lady would be arriving; you didn't respond. She came in cleaned the Kitchen & bathroom. You responded you must have had your earbuds in or you were sleeping. Then you texted me she moved your things and you'd be moving TBD. I asked, "did she steal your things?" you said, "no she just moved them". What person cleans a bathroom or any room for that matter without moving things? Re: random people entering, for that reason, there is an Active VIVINT system and Cameras in and on the Property in Common Areas for Tenant Safety. Common areas include outside of My bedroom in the Hallway and downstairs in the Dining Room. Deja knew upon arrival where the Cameras are in and on the Property and still decided to stay for three weeks. She actually unplugged the Visible Blink and Wyze cameras without asking or telling me. Since she claims she felt unsafe, I have no idea why she would unplug the Cameras or even Stay upon arrival. When I texted to ask her did she unplug the cameras, she texted She unplugged them. She then told me to tell my brother to plug them back in. Again if you felt so unsafe why did you continue to stay upon arrival? You could have told me on 4/26/2005, I don't feel comfortable and would like to have a full refund.. I would have returned your $500 Security and full rent on 4/27/2025 when you moved out. But as stated before, you didn't have the full rent on day one, I was nice to let you move in, help familiarize you via WhatsApp Video chat camera etc. My brother went out immediately after seeing you. You were fully dressed and talking on the phone with another female while texting me asking me about a "gentlemen who claims to be my brother is here" so how is it that you were in the bed sleeping and claiming he was watching you sleep? For that reason, cameras are in and on the Property in common areas. But you unplugged the very thing used for your Security; cameras. If he was watching you sleep, WHICH HE CLEARLY WAS NOT, it's on my camera in the Hallway. You went out of the house, fully addressed , went to eat and returned. You were not sleeping when he returned. A room agreement is used (month to month) for instances like this. When it was confirmed that my cameras were unplugged by deja on 5/10/2025, my bedroom was ajar(opened) ; she was asked to vacate the Property on 5/11/2025, which she did not. She told me she would be filing a Civil court claim, requesting her KeyCheck Credit fee of $45, late fee of $25, Full rent return $850 and $500 back for a grand total of $1770.00. On her departure date of 5/16/2025, she sent at least 20 multiple Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal requests every 30 minutes proving that she can't afford or does not want to pay for what she agreed to. According to State Law, a Landlord has 20 days to refund Security Deposit barring no damage, etc. Since the cameras were unplugged outside of my bedroom door and was ajar (open) & I cannot prove she entered. I returned her Security deposit was returned before 20 days. The Lesson I learned is "vet" your Tenants thoroughly; Do not allow "move in without Full Payment first". My kindness cost me.
