This is a magical, beautiful, solar powered, organic U-pick farm with rolling hills, long range views, 180 fruit trees, 2000 berry bushes, free range peacocks, ducks, chickens and friendly large dogs, a pond, trails, etc. The cottage is independent and quiet. It started out as a workshop/ studio/ sanctuary, but then kept on sprouting new rooms and amenities until it became a fully functioning home with a lot of unique charm.
The cottage has AC, cable internet but no wifi (use a hot spot), a wood stove, basic kitchen, a bathroom, laundry room, living room, den and solar room. Right now it is configured with 1 of the 2 lofts as the only bed room. The solar room will have a futon and the den could be a walk through bedroom. About the landlord
Tony
We are a couple in our late 50's. He is an ER doc and she is an ER nurse. We have created this 16 acre solar powered, sustainable, organic berry farm sanctuary as a labor of love, a commitment to sustainability and connection to nature. These days I mostly do renewable energy research in a R and D I founded, and have moved my ER career to a small corner of my life. I am the father of 2 grown children and have helped raise 7 others who consider me a dad. I do a lot of hiking and love to camp.
