My husband and I with our 2 teen boys live on the property and enjoy beautiful paradise of North Shore, Oahu. We do travel 2-3x per year and have housekeepers stay on site to tend to our animals while gone. Our family enjoys surfing, hiking, snorkeling, ocean swimming and gardening. We have 2 goats, chickens for egg production and a garden with many fruit trees. I work at Queen's Medical Center, West Oahu and the 40 minute drive is mostly along the ocean or through farm Ag land and so an enjoyable commute.
