My wife of 43 years accepted a postion at UH Hilo and began work there in August. We have 4 aduult children, one or two of which will visit us over Christmas-New years. We've been in an air bnb since october 9, and have begun looking for homes to buy, and are waiting for more to come on the market. We own two properties in NC, both are STR. We are excited about living in Hilo proper, and are hoping to find another STR to get us to the busier real estate months of Jan/Feb- a Hawaiian lender pre approved us for over $1m - this an be furnished upon request- so we have ability to pay
