NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE AN ENTRANT’S SCORE OR LIKELIHOOD OF WINNING. THIS IS A SKILL-BASED CONTEST. WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED BASED ON THE JUDGING CRITERIA SET FORTH BELOW, NOT BY RANDOM DRAWING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and/or judges, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest, subject to applicable law. Winning a prize (“Prize”) is contingent on fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Sponsor of the Contest is Furnished Finder, LLC, PO Box 30374, Austin, Texas 78755.
For purposes of these Official Rules, an “Entry” means the completed entry form, the submitted written story, and an optional photo, video, or other materials submitted with the Entry.
WHO MAY ENTER:
You ("you" or "Entrant") may enter the Contest if:
(A) you are a natural person and a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia,
(B) you are at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of entry, and
(C) you meet at least one of the below requirements, described in this C(1) or C(2):
(1) you currently rent or previously rented a property on the FurnishedFinder.com platform, or;
(2) you have provided a property to a traveler by listing it on the FurnishedFinder.com platform.
Void in overseas U.S. territories, possessions, commonwealths, and military installations. Void where prohibited, licensed, restricted, or taxed. Employees of Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, Prize suppliers, and any other individuals or entities involved in the development, administration, judging, or fulfillment of the Contest, and each of their respective immediate family members (spouse, domestic partner, parents, siblings, children, and in-laws, regardless of where they reside) and household members, whether or not related, are not eligible. Entries by entities, groups, automated means, scripts, macros, bots, or other non-human methods are prohibited and void. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
ENTRY PERIOD:
The Entry Period will start at 12:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on June 23, 2026, and will end at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on June 30, 2026. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Contest.
The winners will be contacted on or around July 14, 2026. Limit one entry per person per Entry Period.
HOW TO ENTER:
During the Entry Period, Entrants will:
(i) complete a landlord entry form on https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/L832GQ3 (opens in new tab), or a traveler entry form on https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/THY5TPD (opens in new tab) (the “Page”); and
(ii) share your story about what Furnished Finder made possible for you. Written submissions are required. Entrants may submit accompanying photos or video as optional.
Each written story must be in English unless Sponsor expressly permits otherwise, must not exceed 500 words, and must be the Entrant’s original, truthful, and accurate account of the Entrant’s Furnished Finder experience. Entries must not include confidential, sensitive, or highly personal information of the Entrant or any third party; unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, lewd, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable content; third-party intellectual property, including copyrighted text, images, music, video footage, trademarks, or logos; or the name, image, likeness, voice, or other identifying information of any third party unless Entrant has obtained all required permissions. Optional videos must not include music, television, movie, online video clips, or other copyrighted footage unless Entrant owns or has secured all necessary rights. Sponsor may disqualify any Entry that Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, does not comply with these Official Rules or may expose Sponsor to legal, reputational, or other risk.
Sponsor is not responsible for any failure of the entry page during the Entry Period, including any technical malfunction of any computer, online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of any e-mail to be received on account of traffic congestion on the internet, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an Entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading any material related to the Contest, all of which may affect a person's ability to participate in the Contest.
Subject to Sponsor's sole discretion, any Entry that incorporates elements that are lewd, offensive, vulgar, sexual in nature, involve nudity, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise considered illegal shall be disqualified from the Contest.
SKILL-BASED SELECTION; NO RANDOM DRAWING:
This is a skill-based contest. There will be no random drawing. An Entrant’s likelihood of winning depends on the quality of the Entrant’s eligible Entry as evaluated under the judging criteria below and on the quality and number of other eligible Entries received.
HOW TO WIN:
There will be a total of ten (10) winners, to include: (a) a total of five (5) landlord winners, and (b) a total of five (5) traveler winners.
Following the Entry Period, a panel of judges consisting of Sponsor employees and/or qualified designees by Sponsor will review Entries and select the winning Entries based on three equally weighted criteria:
(1) Authenticity: the extent to which the Entry appears genuine, personal, and based on the Entrant’s own experience;
(2) Emotional Resonance: the extent to which the Entry tells a compelling story about what Furnished Finder made possible for the Entrant; and
(3) Content Usability: the extent to which the Entry is clear, complete, appropriate for Sponsor’s potential marketing or promotional use, and consistent with the theme of the Contest.
In the event of a tie, the tied Entries will be re-evaluated based first on Authenticity, then Emotional Resonance, and then Content Usability, until the tie is broken. The judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
PRIZE:
Five (5) landlord winners will each receive an extension of their subscription on FurnishedFinder.com for a two (2) year period. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $398.00 per two-year subscription extension. The subscription extension applies only to the Furnished Finder subscription identified by Sponsor and will begin upon expiration of the winner’s then-current paid subscription term, or at such other time as Sponsor reasonably determines. Winner must have a Furnished Finder account in good standing to receive and use the subscription extension. The subscription extension is non-transferable, may not be assigned, sold, bartered, redeemed for cash, applied to any other product or service, or substituted except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Any unused portion of the subscription extension will be forfeited and will not be refunded or credited. The subscription extension has no cash value except as required by law and is subject to Furnished Finder’s then-current terms, policies, and platform availability.
Five (5) traveler winners will each receive $500.00. Sponsor will issue Prize to each traveler winner via a check, or, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, other equivalent. The ARV of each traveler winner Prize is $500.00.
Only the Prizes specified above will be awarded. Sponsor makes no representation or warranties concerning the Prizes awarded. Each winner must provide all necessary information for Sponsor to successfully issue the credits. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be assigned, sold, substituted, or redeemed for cash except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize, or any portion of a Prize, with a Prize of equal or greater value if the stated Prize becomes unavailable or cannot be awarded for any reason. All expenses, costs, fees, and charges not expressly stated as included in the Prize description are the sole responsibility of the winner. The total ARV of all Prizes is $4490.00.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LICENSE; PUBLICITY RIGHTS:
Entrant retains ownership of Entrant’s Entry. By entering, Entrant grants Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, licensees, agents, and designees a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable license to reproduce, display, perform, distribute, publish, transmit, edit, adapt, modify, excerpt, create derivative works from, and otherwise use the Entry, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, for Contest administration, advertising, publicity, marketing, social media, website, internal, archival, and other lawful business purposes, without further notice, review, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant waives and agrees not to assert any moral rights or similar rights Entrant may have in the Entry.
By entering, Entrant consents to Sponsor’s use of Entrant’s name, city, state, likeness, photograph, video, voice, biographical information, Prize information, and statements about the Contest or Sponsor for advertising, publicity, marketing, and promotional purposes in any media now known or later developed, without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law. A potential winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability release, publicity release, tax documentation, and/or other documents required by Sponsor as a condition of receiving a Prize.
REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES:
By submitting an Entry, Entrant represents and warrants that: (a) the Entry is original to Entrant; (b) the Entry is truthful and accurate; (c) the Entry does not infringe, misappropriate, or otherwise violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy right, publicity right, contractual right, or other right of any person or entity; (d) Entrant has obtained all permissions, releases, and consents necessary for Sponsor to use the Entry as permitted by these Official Rules; (e) the Entry does not contain unauthorized third-party content or identify third parties without permission; (f) the Entry does not contain confidential, sensitive, or personal information of others; and (g) the Entry and Entrant’s participation comply with all applicable laws and these Official Rules.
RELEASE AND INDEMNITY:
By participating, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, Prize suppliers, social media platforms used in connection with the Contest, and each of their respective officers, directors, managers, members, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest, submission or use of an Entry, acceptance, receipt, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize, technical or administrative errors, or any claim alleging infringement, violation of publicity or privacy rights, defamation, or other harm arising from an Entry or Sponsor’s use of an Entry as permitted by these Official Rules. Entrant agrees to indemnify and defend the released parties from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to Entrant’s breach of these Official Rules or Entrant’s representations and warranties, or any claim that Entrant’s Entry infringes or violates another person’s rights.
PRIVACY; DATA USE:
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, contact potential winners, award Prizes, comply with legal, tax, and reporting obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, and as otherwise described in Sponsor’s privacy policy at https://www.furnishedfinder.com/privacy (opens in new tab). Sponsor will use Entrant personal information for marketing only if Entrant separately consents or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
CLAIMING PRIZE:
Only a properly claimed Prize will be awarded. As a condition of winning the Prize, the winner must complete any applicable forms required by Sponsor or a taxing authority within fifteen (15) days of receipt of Prize notification.
All federal and state income taxes are each winner's responsibility and a Form 1099 may be issued to a winner If required by law based on the value of the Prize awarded. Prizes constitute taxable income. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, and local taxes, fees, and reporting obligations arising from Prize acceptance or use. Sponsor may require a winner to provide a completed IRS Form W-9, IRS Form W-8BEN, Social Security number, taxpayer identification number, or other tax or identity documentation before issuing a Prize. Failure to provide required documentation may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
STATE-SPECIFIC AND JURISDICTIONAL COMPLIANCE RESERVATION:
Sponsor reserves the right to restrict eligibility, modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest, or decline to award a Prize, if Sponsor determines that awarding the Prize or operating the Contest in any jurisdiction would violate applicable law or require registration, bonding, translation, local notices, tax withholding, or other requirements that have not been satisfied.
