DO NOT LIVE HERE
I would not recommend this property to anyone. The landlord lives downstairs, works from home, and is EXTREMELY loud. Constant heavy thumping travels between floors, including while you're trying to sleep. She is entitled, defensive, takes tenant concerns personally, and treats paying adults like children. She controlled the thermostat on a floor she didn't even live on while my room stayed extremely hot. She does the bare minimum to address concerns while expecting tenants to accommodate her. She also constantly brought up drinking-beer, wine and tequila. Nearly every interaction somehow involved alcohol. Take that however you will. After asking whether I planned to renew and telling me to let her know, she sent a nonrenewal notice before I even answered. For $1,200 a month, it's absolutely not worth it. The space is small and you're sharing a bathroom and living space with other tenants. I was RELIEVED to leave rather than renew. Save your money and look elsewhere.
