I love this spot - and use it myself when I am able to come back to New Orleans. It's warmly decorated with nice furniture - great desk and couch from west elm, a great mattress, and art that I love and have collected over the years. This is the only apartment in the detached backyard cottage, but the main property is two homes with tenants (great people). You'd be able to share the laundry.

It's a bright and cozy studio behind the main house. You walk through a garden to get to it - it's decorated with framed Mardi -gras and Jazz fest posters and decorations, a bright yellow wall, a TV, stove, microwave, fridge - - and a solid (and essential!) espresso machine
