A Lovely Home Away from Home

I had a pleasant and comfortable 7 month stay here while my house was being renovated. The apartment felt welcoming and like a home having a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of storage, and a comfy bed along with thoughtful touches such as artwork and books. I appreciated the well maintained 1915 four-square home. The woodwork, doorknobs, and other small architectural details gave the space a lot of character. The country setting, large yard and gardens were beautiful and the home's close proximity to town was quite convenient. Karen, the landlady, was approachable, accommodating and responsive. She respected my privacy yet was there when I needed something. I also enjoyed getting to know her and her partner. When it was time to move out, I felt somewhat sad to leave - I was very content here and appreciated both the apartment and the connection I had with Karen and her partner. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an extended stay apartment.
