Oak Park is a tree-lined village on the edge of Chicago's West Side, with many beautiful historic homes. It's definitely not a cookie-cutter suburb. The quaint main street of Oak Park with shops, restaurants and a great movie theater is within 15 to 20 minutes, depending where you're walking. We have nice neighbors.
