Our Studio is attached in the back of our house. You have access through a private side gate and cozy side yard. There are 2 chairs to sit outside.
We are located directly on the park with view of the downtown skyline. The park has a discount golf course and sculpture walk.
We had 2 small dogs who barks when they see you if they are in the backyard. Just ignore them and they stop.
Space
The Studio is about 300 sq ft. Equip with a West Elm couch, high-top table and chairs, queen size bed with new memory foam mattress. There's not a formal kitchen, but a plug in cooktop, microwave, Keurig coffee machine. Everything needed to cook basic meals.
There's a washer/dryer combo, but the dryer is not efficient, so there is a clothing rack to dry your clothes.
I will refresh the studio weekly with clean lin...
Neighborhood overview
Historic Springfield is in the middle of resurgence. It is close to downtown, urban area, easy walking with gorgeous big old oak trees, we are surrounded by neighbors who care and involved in the community. A few coffee shops, wine bars, restaurants... but don't be fooled, it still have its challenges with pockets of poverty and some homelessness.
