I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home for a few months, and we truly couldnt have asked for a better experience. The house itself is very comfortable, welcoming, and had everything I needed to feel at home. From the very beginning, I was treated with incredible kindness and respectnot just me, but my whole family when they came to visit me. Sue and Rick went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and that meant the world to us. They were responsive, thoughtful, and always available when needed, yet gave us space to enjoy our time fully. I leave with great memories, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the care and generosity we received. Thank you for everything Sue and Rick I wish I could have stayed longer!

You Wont Regret It!

This was my first travel assignment and I was so nervous about finding a nice, safe home to stay at. This place literally turned into a home away from home. It's located in such a beautiful neighborhood. I work night shift and never heard a peep! S and R were always super helpful during my stay! During snowstorms, R would clean my car off making it one less thing for me! They would Even decorate for the holidaysThey are so sweet and dedicated to making sure you feel comfortable! When I say I did not have one negative thing to say! Everything you needed was there! I will definitely be returning if I find an assignment in the area again. Like I said, you won't regret it!

Truly a Home away from Home

If you are looking for a little ray of Sunshine, a warm home environment, friendly neighbors and the most amazing hosts then you are definitely found the right place. Mrs. S and Mr. R ensure that you feel at home and provide you with speedy response and great hospitality. It is a very peaceful and safe place. I would definitely stay again if I am ever in the area again.

The best place to stay!

I loved my stay here! I am a traveling student and this property was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent, you are only 15 min away from three of the UPMC hospitals. It is safe, quiet and clean. The guesthouse is very homey and has everything you could possibly need. S and R are the greatest hosts! They are so kind and generous, all while respecting your privacy. I look forward to the next time I am in this area!

Excellent Stay

I had an excellent stay. The best part of my travel assignment. Everything was just as pictured and described. S and R are excellent hosts!!!! Would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to staying again in the future.

The best of the best!

It doesnt get better than this!! Beautiful, clean, safe apartment. Its close to all UPMC locations. S and R were the best in making sure I was comfortable with anything and everything I could need. I hope to stay here again if I make it back to PA!

Coziest spot

This is the best furnished finders spot I have stayed in yet! S and R couldnt be more wonderful hosts and their unit is the coziest, feel at home place you will find. It is fully equipped with anything and everything you will need to feel right at home, and if theres something you need that doesnt happen to be there, they will be sure to get it for you without question! The unit is remarkably clean with a private entrance so not to feel like youre disturbing anyone. I had the best stay here and I wish I could take it with me everywhere I travel! I truly miss coming home to such an awesome place. Thanks again S and R, and if Im ever back in the area, this will be 100% where I stay!

THE BEST!!!

Everyone else should take lessons from S & R! They absolutely think of everything and take care of whatever comes up right away. They are both both super friendly, but absolutely respect privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. The pictures are exactly as is, and the kitchen & baths are stocked just like home, you won't need a thing here, except your personal items. There are blackout curtains if you are working nights. Shopping is just a few minutes away. All the neighbors are friendly too if you like going for walks. This place is PERFECT and blows away all the rest! You truly won't want to stay anywhere else! Just cannot say enough good things about them and their place!

Wonderful Place, People and Location

Perfect! I am a little new to travel nursing, so staying here first - will probably have me spoiled from here on out!! I stayed here for a 15 week contract at Penn State and honestly loved it. The room was wonderful. xxx and xxx paid close attention to all details of the home to help make us feel comfortable and to make us feel "at home". Furnished so well that you really won't need to bring much with you. I felt spoiled (so did my roommate, who was new to travel also) We both loved being there. The neighborhood was also great. We both felt comfortable with taking evening walks, everyone was friendly. If you need a place to stay...choose this one. xxx and xxx....miss you guys!

YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT

S & R are incredible hosts! They make you feel right at home! Such a safe neighborhood to walk around each evening! Location is perfect for anything on the West Shore as well! I felt like I was staying in a beach house resort while I was there and I loved it so much! Wish I could go back! Clean & had all the kitchen appliances you could need! PERFECT PLACE!!!!

Wonderful stay

Rick & Sue went above and beyond for my stay here, I cannot recommend this guest house enough! It was very comfortable and had everything you need and then some. Quiet and dark in the bedroom for sleeping with a chaotic hospital schedule and beautiful patio for relaxing on sunny days. I was a long term guest and really enjoyed getting to know the owners, they were beyond accommodating and helped me out with so many things during my stay here. They are very respectful of privacy but always around if you need them and keep the unit in tip top shape! This is the unit to stay in for your time in Harrisburg!

Wonderful Place to Stay!

This place was wonderful. It was very clean, safe, and in a prime location (less than 20 min from most of the hospitals). Sue is such a kind lady and is extremely accommodating. My contract unfortunately got cancelled early and Sue was very flexible with letting me cancel my lease early. This place has everything that you could possible need, fully stocked kitchen, towels/linens, and even cleaning supplies were provided. In unit washer and dryer. Both the separate entrance and the bedroom itself had key pads for safety. I would definitely stay here again if Im ever back in the area. Would highly recommend!

Great place w/ great people!

Absolutely loved this place! It was in a nice, safe and quiet area and Sue is so nice and accommodating even decorating for Christmas making it feel even more like Home. I would not hesitate to stay here again, it has everything you need as a traveler and more!

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Nice, clean property. Good neighborhood. Convenient location to multiple hospitals. Owners are very nice, and accommodating. The smaller bedroom definitely has less privacy, since the bathroom is not attached. It is dependent upon the renter in the large bedroom to recognize this privacy issue, especially with different schedules and visitors. Good experience overall.

Home away from home

This property is very clean and well maintained. The owners have everything you need for your stay and chances are if somethings lacking, theyll provide it. The biggest thing I worry about is cleanliness and odors. Its not only clean but there are no strange or off putting odors. Its well lit and you never run out of hot water. You have access to a clothes line if you want to hang your clothes in the sun and you can go for a swim while they dry. Lastly, the homeowners are the kindest people. Theyre honest, hardworking and good. If you get this property, count yourself very lucky.

Amazing space!

I have been a travel nurse for a year now, and I have to say this has been by far my favorite place to stay. Sue and Rick do an amazing job of keeping the place modern and clean. They also include all of the amenities you didnt even realize you needed. I will definitely be returning if I work in the area again!

Absolutely wonderful!

This place was absolutely wonderful! The host Rick and Sue were so amazing and kind and made me feel at home and helped out in every way they could! It's a beautiful home and well taken care of property! Full access to the garden and pool. Safe neighborhood and close to shopping. Wonderful stay highly recommended!

All you could need and more!

This apartment is nothing short of a gem. Sue and Rick take amazing care of this apartment and their home. Its clean, updated, nicely decorated, and close to everything you could need. Safe neighborhood and they even let you have access to their pool. I couldnt have asked for anything more! The kindest hosts with such a great home away from home.

Love and miss this place!

Loved staying here! Very secure, safe area, and very nice! I felt like I was staying at a resort. Sue and Rick are two of the nicest people you will ever meet! They respect your privacy, but still make sure you have everything you need. I hope to return next spring, and can’t wait!
