Cozy Country Stay

I had the most wonderful stay on the farm. Pretty basic and straightforward, but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including a washer and dryer in unit. I felt very safe, and I loved living on a small cattle farm. This place is just outside the city, but not too far out. I also liked being able to drive through the automatic gate and park inside the property away from the street. Al and Rosemerri are some of the nicest people I have ever met and they made sure I had everything I needed. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

Country Living

Cozy little house that had all the things I needed to feel at home, nice natural light with curtains/shades, dishwasher, tub, internet and a pleasant couple for landlords. Security gate also gave peace of mind while I was there. Also DVR cable got me hooked on a show or two. Comfy, cozy and anything I brought up was addressed rapidly. I borrowed a kitchen utensil and Rosemerri went out and bought one for the rental unit the next weekend. If you're around during roundup, you'll be treated to an experience. Landlords go above and beyond.

Lovely place

This place is a hidden gem in Bakersfield! I had a great time while staying here. The bed is very comfortable. The hosts very quick to respond. Would definitely return.

Quiet and peaceful

While it seems a little out of the way, this is your home away from home. Its quiet, the hosts are amazing and the place is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Very safe farm living!

If you want a safe and affordable place to stay and enjoy a rustic working farm environment this is the place for you! It is a well equipped basic residence located in the yard of the owners home with animals all around and as a bonus there is a gated driveway and yard with watch dogs. The owners are helpful, quick to respond to any issues and friendly. As an added bonus there is a dishwasher and washer/dryer which is rare. It is on well water with very hard water but that is the only thing worth mentioning. Thanks R for everything!

Country Living at its Finest

We absolutely loved this place! My wife and I stayed here through my 2 contracts at BHH. It really is in the country but it only took me 15 minutes to get to work. The landlords couldn't have been nicer and they made us feel right at home. They have horses and cows and chickens. I had lived on a farm as a kid and it brought back pleasant memories. My wife had never lived in the country and she really enjoyed seeing farm life up close, and she felt very secure here. The neighbors have sheep, and across the street is an almond orchard. A fence with an electric gate keeps everybody else out. The living space is great. It's private and you have a big bedroom with attached bathroom; a big living room, and a great kitchen - even a washer and dryer! My wife loved having a washer and dryer. I even got to set up my golf practice net out past the barn and enjoyed many hours of practice there. If you don't want to live in the city and be surrounded with people this is the place for you!

This home is so cozy and comfortable! It is very spacious and they have everything you could need to have a great stay. R and her husband are the best. I am a first time traveler here and they check in on my periodically to make sure I am ok. If you are lucky enough to see this listing available, do not hesitate! You won't be sorry!

I love staying here, I felt so safe. Rosemarie and Al we great host and such a pleasure. Beautiful and very comfortable place to stay. They made me feel like part of the family. Close to the hospitals, shopping and restaurants. Quiet and relaxing place to enjoy. Everything you need is here. I give the host and home 5. Wish I was not leaving. Perfect place for the traveling professional

I stayed at this quaint and charming Mother in law suite for about 6 months and it was perfect. It has everything you need and is only about an 11 minute drive to Kern Med. The owners are very sweet and thoughtful. Ive never had any issues. Hal and RoseMerri though of everything and it has all of the accommodations you need. 10/10 would recommend as the perfect place for the traveling professional.

Great place to stay...

I rented this property for three months and had a great time. Rosemerri and Al took me to the rodeo, dinner ad aceppted me into there family activities. They were not intrusive at all and left me to my own activities and work.
