The River Cottage

Great place

My family and I moved to Vermont in October 2023. Mrs.Amy and Mr. Greg are wonderful people. My children loved them just they were family and they treated us as the same. The neighbors greeted us the same day we moved in. The lake is very peaceful to go to to get a piece of mind or just to have so time to yourself. We didn't want to leave it was that wonderful.

Winter Wonderland Stay!

My husband and I stayed at the River Cottage while house hunting in Vermont for a winter season. We are both remote workers and found the cottage to have everything we needed. The neighborhood is a joy! Our friendly neighbors welcomed us even though we were just there for half a year. Our hosts were super too! They we always responsive, attentive, checked in from in to time, and were a delight to get to know. The location is fantastic; the river is a simple walk out the door, and the amenities of Burlington just 15 minuets away. We walked to the river everyday. It's a gorgeous place to enjoy the seasons. Winter was a wonderland with snow covered trees and animal foot prints, and spring bloomed with colorful life and birdsong. Another special treat? The wood burning stove. It really makes winter cozy! We are forever grateful for our time at the cottage and for all the fantastic people we met while there. Thank you!
