Great location, great owner

My wife, 16 year old daughter, sweet dog, and I needed a place to live for 8 months while our house was being renovated. I was happy to find Josette's listing since I previously lived in the area, which is walking distance to the Grand Lake Theater. shops, and great restaurants. And Josette is a very responsive property owner. She quickly replaced the oven and a TV that suddenly stopped working, fixed the shower when we weren't getting hot water, and brought in an extra A/C unit when we were experiencing an extended heatwave. I highly recommend this listing!

This is a cute and cozy place to stay. Very comfortable. J, the host is so kind. Would stay there again.

I had a great stay at J's place. Wonderful quiet neighborhood close to everything. I could not have asked for a better host!

Great Stay!!

This was my first time living in Oakland and I wasn't familiar with the area. I'm so glad I came across this rental!! It was exactly the type of space I was looking for - reasonably priced, safe area, clean, and quiet. J was very responsive and helped me out with anything I needed. Great cooking space with all the necessary utensils and appliances. Extra pull-out bed for guests. Plenty of linens, towels, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely duplex in Oakland and an even lovelier host!

I was offered a contract that did not work out. J was awesome to work with and so nice! Im bummed to not stay longer. The area is beautiful. There is a gorgeous rose garden an easy walk from the duplex.
