I stayed in John and Terri’s garage apartment for nearly 3 months while I was an artist-in-residence at Furman University, and it truly could not have been a better experience. They are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming people who made me feel at home while also giving me space to unwind after long studio days. As a woman traveling alone, safety was very important to me, and I felt completely safe in the neighborhood at all hours. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully outfitted with high-end appliances, a full kitchen, great AC/heat, excellent water pressure, and every amenity I needed, from cookware to linens and cleaning supplies. Having a covered parking spot was also a huge bonus. The views are beautiful, and the space honestly felt like a 5-star hotel. Beautiful and relaxing

My wife and I stayed here for close to two months while home shopping, but could have happily stayed longer! The property is situated on top of a mountain, with a beautiful drive in and out. When the weather was nice, we enjoyed sitting on the shared screened-in porch, soaking up amazing views of the mountains and the city. Aside from views, the property had everything we needed to feel at home (pots, pans, towels, linens, etc.). John and Terry were extremely helpful and friendly, and were responsive to text messages and calls if there was anything we needed. This is a great deal for an amazing location.

So happy about my stay here! I stayed for almost 2 months and John and Terri were super kind during all of our interactions. The place is very spacious, quiet, and the views are BEAUTIFUL! It was very accommodating for a short term stay. Highly recommend this place. Thank you for everything, John!

Peaceful and Relaxing

So great I stayed for the year. Owners could not have been more accommodating. Beautiful views in the mountains and the living area was superb. Pretty much all amenities are available. All I was missing was a pizza cutter but the owners went and got one for me, instead of buying one myself. Great place to stay

Exceptional

This is truly a FROG ++. The floor covers the a large 2 car garage AND a carport. This additional square footage allows for lots of space and more than the usual closet and storage. The build out design is very cool with a roomy kitchen and first rate appliances. The bathroom is first class. I loved the space. There are spectacular views from just beyond the screen porch that you can enjoy without being in the host's sight line. There always seems to be a fresh breeze and lots of hummingbird activity on the feeder. There is a steep drive adjacent that provided a great lower body workout free of traffic. Swamp Rabbit Trail access is just 10 minutes away. J and T are exceptional hosts and have really provided a sanctuary for a traveling professional.

Great location

This property is at a great location. Its parallel to none. Extremely spacious well structured and has all amenities needed for a full size 1 bedroom apartment. I love the full kitchen and the dining area. The loft area is an extra space for relaxation, watching tv or reading. I used the computer desk daily. The shower is nice and modern and the bed is super comfortable. J the host is incredible. Easy to work with and very flexible. I had a great experience staying there. Highly recommended. Its a must stay.

Fitting title

The apartment is in a lovely location surrounded by beautiful scenery. It's very clean and had all of the accommodations I needed with the separate bedroom, full kitchen, and a very nice shower that got to the perfect hot temperature and had great water pressure. The couple who own the property was very hospitable and accommodating to my night shift schedule and respected my privacy. Very nice, honest people to rent from and they promptly returned my security deposit. You're definitely be happy with your stay at this rental.

Perfect Spot

If you are looking for the perfect little spot with the best views, this is your place! This one bedroom one bathroom comes with a washer and dryer, cable, wifi, spacious living area, and full kitchen- literally everything you need! J and T are the sweetest landlords and are epitome of southern hospitality. The view from their deck and from the outdoor space is beautiful, especially for the fall sunsets! Also it was just a short 25 minute drive to Prisma GMH. I would recommend this spot for anyone traveling who needs a good "home away from home" for their assignments.

A beautiful garage apartment with all the necessities and then some! The view of the mountains is breath taking and so relaxing. The hosts are ideal, courteous, kind, and respectful. I will definitely seek out this gem if I return to the area!

Fantastic Apartment

I stayed in this apartment for 2 months while on a travel assignment. The apartment was spotless and had everything I needed. The views were amazing and the location was perfect. J was a fantastic host and always made sure everything was going well. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone that needs housing in the area.

Home away fro home

Great property and great price for all of the amenities that are included which is basically everything except for food and personal things. Beautiful views and very peaceful so you can get a great night or day of sleep depending on which shift you work. Stores and restaurants are close by within about 10 minutes or so. John and Terri are wonderful people and treat their guests wonderfully as well. So, if you are coming to Greenville, SC and need a place to yourself for a few months, this is the place to be!!

Gorgeous Mountain View from a Suburban Private Modern Retreat

Currently gazing out my bedroom window at the mountain & city lights view from this amazing over-the-garage apt, and Im already missing it! As a first-time travel nurse in Greenville, SC, I was blessed to find this lovely gem of an apt. John & Terri created a wonderful space to come home and relax after a long shift. Theres also a beautiful shared patio with stunning sunset/sunrise views. Theyve made plenty of thoughtful storage spaces throughout the apt for this chronic overpacker! An incredibly comfortable bed to dive into after a long day. A great pressured shower to wash the day off! <3
