Great Stay

This review is overdue, but I needed a place to stay while moving to CA with my dog that was safe, furnished, and dog-friendly. I kept coming back to this property because it looked so beautiful but photos really don't do it justice. It was the perfect peaceful oasis outside the busy city that I needed to get settled in. Deb and her husband were warm, welcoming, and communicative for the entirety of my stay. It was perfect for a short-term living arrangement. I highly recommend their home, I was comfortable and felt very safe the whole time we stayed there. Thank you again!

time well spent

this little gem was a great home away from home for us. Very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful lush garden and places to sit outside. D is a wonderful landlord and always willing to do whatever she can to make your stay pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

D and J are so friendly and accommodating. They gave me and my dog Draco a great stay, they were so kind to us both, helped watch him and feed him when I worked nights. The property is absolutely beautiful! 10/10 recommend

One-Of-A-Kind Fantastic San Diego Housing!

I absolutely loved my stay here! It was the perfect place for me to live while I completed a summer internship. D and J were such fantastic, thoughtful hosts and really helped me feel at home. This housing is located so conveniently close, within 15 mins, to downtown, beaches, shopping, etc, all while being located in a quiet, suburban neighborhood, and it has a phenomenal view being at the top of a hill. The inside of the cottage is very homey and nicely furnished and decorated. The outside is gorgeous with all of the beautiful plants, and the private deck is a great place to wind down in the afternoon. I felt very safe living here with the landlords on site, and the cottage was very peaceful and quiet. I would definitely live here again and would absolutely recommend it! This housing really is a hidden treasure!

Awesome place!

Very inviting property and host. Welcome to pets which was a life saver! Place has everything you could ask for, and close enough to everything in San Diego to promise a good time!

Perfect SD housing

Absolutely loved my stay here! The house had everything I needed so I just needed to bring my personal stuff. The swings on the front porch were my favorite part! It was so relaxing to be able to enjoy the fresh air while being surrounded by all of the plants/gardens that the host have done such an amazing job of maintaining. Felt like a true oasis. Great way to unwind after work. The host were also great! Super friendly and always quick to respond. Their dogs were really fun too and I enjoyed my games of fetch. I worked at KPSDMC night shift, and had little to no traffic going to and from work which is great. It is also really close to the city. Usually took 15 minutes to get out to Coronado, which is my favorite area and beach. I would 100% stay here again!

Beautiful Oasis!

This property is a hidden gem! Quiet and serene, it is surrounded by lush old growth vegetation. The plants and animals are soothing and beautiful. The owners are also amazing. It is exactly what I needed to come home to after a long day of work. It's also an quick drive to most hospitals and because of the location I never had a problem with traffic. Would recommend 1000%

Charming Beautiful Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this property for 2.5 months. As a travel nurse, this has honestly been one of my favorite places to stay in the San Diego. Its so charming, peaceful, and feels like a getaway. Its close to beaches, a major highway, and shopping. The property is located on beautiful grounds with a lush garden, palms, and flowers. It feels like youre away from all the hustle and bustle. The patio is just beautiful, has swinging chairs, so you can sit back and relax or read a book. The property has everything you need for short or long term stay. Even our two dogs loved their stay here. The hosts, Deborah and Jerry were also very welcoming, nice to talk to, and the best hosts. I recommend this place a 10/10. Writing this review makes me miss this place so much.

I loved my stay at the Casita!! Beautiful accommodations in a very safe, centrally located neighborhood! Deborah and Jerry are both wonderful host and people. I was on a travel assignment, this home was quiet and very relaxing for my off days.. Ill miss this place and the fur babies! Thank you both! Sandy

Beautiful, convenient sanctuary. Wonderful owners.

My husband and I needed a temporary place to stay in San Diego while we looked for a home to buy. We were fortunate to have found this place. The unit is nicely decorated inside with a tropical theme. The outside deck is a great place to eat and relax while you're surrounded by lush grounds. The owners are very friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel at home while giving you the privacy you need. My husband and I were able to easily work remote from the unit even when we had to be on calls at the same time. I highly recommend this place.

A Little Lovely Place to Stay

If you want to stay in a place that is in a charming garden setting, this space is it. I travel with my 11# schnauzer and we both enjoyed this space. Deborah and her husband have thought of everything and are fine hosts. My friend that traveled with me on this assignment dreamed about staying here forever it's convenient to everywhere.

Loved it!!

Beautiful gardens and very peaceful place to come after work. I was here for a 3 month contract and stayed for a year! Close to beaches and downtown SD...the most gracious hosts (and hostpups). I will miss it!!
