Wonderful stay

J B is a wonderful landlord. The bedroom has a wonderful mattress and lots of storage. The traveler has a full size refrigerator in garage, right next to kitchen. If I could Id still be renting from J. J is a wealth of knowledge of montaray county and local eateries. Thank you again J.

J is the most wonderful host! she is kind and caring and truly an all around person, she gives you all types of local suggestions. the room is just the right size and the bathroom is lovely. my favorite part is her small yard. it's full of birds and fruits and it's a pleasant way to unwind. you have your own fridge and bathroom, so it kind of feels like your own space. plus! it's about a 5 min drive to SVMH! if you want a place where you feel like family this is it.

Nice home for what you need.

I relocated from Southern California and Ms. J was the only person kind enough to rent it for 2 months. She is very accommodating and she makes sure you know the area and what Salinas and Monterey County has to offer. The home and room is comfortable and you have your own restroom. I'm glad she is the first person I met when I moved to Monterey. Thank you, Ms. J, for everything!!!

Friend for life, amazing experience

J is the host and she is absolutely incredible. She is so caring I am so glad she reached out to me and had me stay with her instead of sharing with a roommate elsewhere. She is such a great friend, she gives you great tours, helps you meet other new incredible people and best of all,she is just so loving! The room 8s nice, the bed is soft, you have your own private bathroom, there is a hot tub outside, an incredible backyard and two living rooms!! She has traveled the world so the collection of global pieces in her home is a msrvel to see in itself. The hospital is only 5 minutes away by driving. She was very accommodating to my busy schedule and even cleaned my room out for me each week. I was so happy staying with her and honestly came back a better person from everything I learned from her. I highly recommend staying here!!

Wonderful experience

06/2019 - 10/2019. Janet and her home are both so wonderful! Janet is so kind, has been living here many years and is a great resource for local travel. The house is filled with treasures and stories, as Janet had traveled all over the world. I have felt very safe living in this area, and it is easy access to restaurants, shopping plaza, grocery stores and any major roads and highways to Monterey, northern or southern towns. I worked nights and felt that my sleep was respected 100%. I tried to make my next assignment within driving distance so that I could continue to live here!

Fantastic!

Janet is a wonderful hostess and roommate. She immediately took a liking to my sweet doggy Gus and he fell in love with her too. We quickly developed a great relationship and Janet is now a part of our family. I would highly recommend her. She knows the area very well and loves to show people around. Her home is filled with magical treasures from all of the places shes visited and her sunroom.. Id drive the 8 hrs just to sit in it. Be sure to sample the lemons from her lemon tree and take a dip in the hot tub. I miss you Janet!!! Gus and I love you so much

Wonderful spot!

Janet is a wonderful host who has plenty of recommendations for Salinas and surrounding areas! I truly enjoyed my time with her! Her house is very comfortable and has plenty of space. She is located in a great, safe area! She is walking distance from stores and downtown and only a 20ish minute drive to some beautiful beaches! Highly recommend staying here! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Location and Wonderful Host

Janet was a wonderful host who has lived in Salinas her whole life and knows all the good places to go. The house itself is in a wonderful area of Salinas and is within walking distance to several restaurants and grocery stores. It’s close to the beautiful downtown area as well. It’s in a great location to access Monterey and the 101 easily. I have enjoyed my stay here and am bummed to have to be leaving such a beautiful and comfortable place.
