Landlord was kind and generous. Shared laundry was easy. Safe neighborhood. Super close to grocery, hospital, and skilled nursing facilities. 10 min drive to beach. Would stay again if I return to Eureka.

Cozy studio surrounded by beautiful flowers

The unit is the perfect size for a solo traveler and has everything you could possibly need. The host Carol is very kind. The front of the unit is surrounded by gorgeous flowers. The location is great as well, nice and peaceful.

Comfortable and private

Nice cozy private studio. Host is highly responsive and communicative. All needs met and the studio is so comfortable as a home away from home.

Comfortable and Private Guest House

I stayed at Cs Guest House for roughly 2 1/2 months. The laundry room is inside the actual house in the back, but you have access with two separate keys for the guest house and another for the laundry room. Fully stocked kitchen as well. C was very responsive with any needs, and would let you know if ahead of time if there was any work to be done around the house in case you work graveyards and don't want to be disturbed while sleeping during the day. Parking the in the back of the house for more privacy and security, or can park in front of the house.

A true home away from home

I stayed at the Garden Studio for 3 months and it was a really pleasant experience. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is a good size and really comfortable. Quiet space and beautiful garden to look out at from the large front windows. Also having access to the laundry was convenient. C is very kind and attentive. She is great at communicating and was empathic with all the stress of recent weather conditions. Her dog Bella is sweet and quiet. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The garden studio was clean, roomy and cozy. Well-stocked kitchen and the grounds/garden are cute.

Peaceful Haven

I really enjoyed my stay in this place. It's quiet and I felt safe. As an introvert, I look forward to coming home to have some serene me-time after a long day at work. C is cool & very professional. When C had family emergencies out-of-town, she made sure I'm notified and someone else is able to assist me if I need something. When I moved-in, C had icecream in my freezer! What a pleasant surprise! A much-needed treat after all the stress of moving and taking a new work assignment. That was very thoughtful. Bella, her dog is very gentle. Bella will never bother you unless you call her name or wanted to pet her. The laundry room is in the back entrance of C's house. You'll have your own key & it is very accessible. NO need to go in the actual house, so you have privacy while doing your laundry. The location is very convenient; less than 5 minutes to the hospital and easy access to US101. I'll stay again in a heartbeat given a chance.

A peaceful Safe haven

Though I had to cut my assignment short at St. Josephs , I am very grateful I was able to rent this studio . C is a very good Landlady and has put together a very efficient studio for any traveler who rents here . I am impressed with the space and storage. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils and cookware etc. I felt safe while staying here and it is very peaceful . I would rent it again if I ever needed to come back this way for a while, and if it were available .

home away from home

This was the perfect place for me to land in Humboldt while I went through the stressful process of buying my own home. The studio was a quiet refuge, in the back of a spacious property looking out into a beautiful garden. It came with its own parking, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living space and comfortable bed. Carol was the perfect host. She was incredibly responsive and friendly, without being intrusive. I could tell by the details: from the cleanliness, small art pieces, and good selection of cookware; that Carol prepared this place with attention and care. This truly felt like my home away from home.

Quiet and Peaceful Place

I spent a month here and enjoyed the setting. It's quiet and peaceful. The studio was comfortable, and Carol was a considerate host. She's courteous and helpful.

Amazing Stay- 5 Stars

Carol was an amazing host. Her studio is completely furnished and has full amenities. Studio is very private which is amazing since I would leave early in the morning and didnt return until late evening. Also has private parking which is always a plus. Neighborhood is very quite, if I ever take an assignment in that area again I would love to stay here again.

month long stay!

I'm a travel nurse & stayed here for 1 month. LOCATION: I worked ~1 hour away but there are nearby hospitals. 5min drive to Target/ other stores. Gym ~1/2 mile away. 15min drive to cute nearby town Arcata or anywhere else in Eureka. SPACE: clean, spacious, private, quiet. I felt very safe. All appliances/amenities you'd need, even if power is cut off (hot water & gas stove still work). Beautiful garden outside. Sweet & calm dog, only around when host is outside. Pull out bed : fine for my time there. HOST: Carol is very responsive, helpful, & kind. Respects privacy but available if needed.

Garden Studio

I stayed at the Garden Studio for 3 months, then again for a few weeks. The location is great for working at St Joseph Hospital. It's closed to stores, and most businesses one needs to visit. The studio is spacious, private, and very quiet. The owner's beautiful garden is right outside the window. There is always a nice breeze when the windows are open. The studio comes with a kitchen, a gas stove, and a nice bathroom. I had everything I needed. Carol is hospitable, kind, and always very helpful. I had a great stay.
