My happy place

Stayed almost one year! I wish I were back there for good! I stayed here for work and Mel and Jeff became like family to me. They are the warmest people you will ever meet. The apartment is immaculate and so well decorated. Everything the other reviews say and more. Plenty of dishware, utensils, towels, sheets and bathroom supplies. The sofa and bed are both so comfy. The view is everything. This place brought me peace while I was away from my family. I want to go back soon and beg them to let me live there foreverrrr!!!

A+ Views, comfort, and safety!

Absolutely beautiful! Private deck overlooking the bay. Spacious and functional full kitchen with every tool and appliance you could possibly need. Comfortable bed and sofa as well as additional sitting areas for relaxing, reading, or working on your laptop. Large capacity washer and dryer available just downstairs. Lots of natural light provided by multiple skylights, even has water views from the bathroom! The property owner even offered to cover the skylight over the bed to aide in daytime sleeping in case you work overnight. The location is lovely, outside of the city center, but only a 10-15 minute drive to the larger local supermarkets and wide variety of restaurants. Just a short drive to botanical gardens, beaches, hiking and biking trails, this apartment is an absolute gem! Mel is an amazing host, sweet, kind, and available as needed. On occasion, she even left cookies, cake, and muffins for me. Overall, I count myself luck to have had the opportunity to stay here! 5 stars!

lucky find!

You will love this clean well appointed apartment with a view of Charleston Bay. The picture is real and every day you get to watch the boats going by and even occasionally a freighter going out to sea. You can hear the seals barking. The people are lovely and wonderful to rent from. I wish I had found this place sooner because I only got to stay here six weeks and it was a treat.

Better than 5 stars!

This is the best rental I've ever had. The view in the photos is real. It has all the essentials and is a great place to live, in a great location. The owner is a joy, and you'll have no issues. I only left because I left Oregon.
