Best place to stay in Redding

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment is perfectly secluded, nestled in the serene Redding hills, offering breathtaking views of Mount Shasta. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see deer wandering the property and even spotted a black bear oncetruly unforgettable! Kevin was an exceptional hostkind, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. He went above and beyond by inviting my boyfriend and me to a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, a gesture we will always cherish. His hospitality made our stay even more special. To top it off, I mistakenly mailed something to the apartment months after our stay, and Kevin not only noticed but called me and mailed it back promptly. His kindness and attention to detail were truly remarkable. We are so grateful for the opportunity to meet Kevin and will absolutely stay here again whenever were back in Redding. Thank you for everything, Kevin!

great stay!

This was such a wonderful stay! Beautiful views at all times and was able to walk my dog daily in the neighborhood. Great communication with the host and he was also very helpful, I had some car issues and he offered me a ton of help. I work night shift and the room was able to get dark enough for me. My dog and I enjoyed our stay very much!

great place to rent

I have stayed at Ks property twice in the past. Both times he was attentive and made sure he answered all my questions. He was a gracious host offering me a home cooked meal on Xmas day and home baked cookies on last day there. Definitely a great place to rent 5 stars 10/10 -M

Great Cheaper Stay in Redding

I stayed on this property while I was in Redding for work for a few months. The property offered everything I needed and was comfortable enough (even during some of the hotter summer months). HVAC and appliances never crapped out on me, water pressure was fine, and owner provided many of the necessary cleaning supplies. Internet connection was just fine for the area and never had an interruption of electric service (even on PG&E's system). Being in a more rural area, bugs are common. Owner had sprays to deal with spiders, ants, and wasps/hornets so this was not a big deal. Overall, great place to stay and come back to after spending all day at work and on the trails.

Great Place!!

Highly recommend! Its tough to be away from family and friends for X amount of months but with the opportunity to rent this place will feel like home! M and K are wonderful people who will make you feel like family. The property is safe with beautiful views! K respects your privacy and is a great source for local hikes. We still keep in touch to this day. Awesome family! B is the man!

Beautiful Views and Wonderful experience

I've absolutely love living on this property! The views of Shasta and the surrounding mountains are absolutely breath-taking! It truly never ceases to amaze! My experience here was wonderful and easy. I'm in the apartment above the garage which is spacious and has everything you need. Kevin has been very kind and helpful throughout my stay. He has always respected my privacy and is a good guide to local hikes. I would most definitely stay here again, if I make a return to Redding!

Wonderful stay

I stayed in the studio above the garage. It was a very comfortable and homey place. Kevin is a very nice and accommodating host. Beautiful property and lovely location.

Perfect Apartment

My husband and I stayed at Kevin and Mallorys apartment during his assignment at Mercy. This unit has everything youll possibly need! Great quiet and safe location for traveling nurses! Easy drive to the hospital and any restaurants/shopping in Redding or Anderson! Sad to leave this place!

Easy livin!

This is a cute converted apartment above a garage. Tucked away outside of Redding in a very quiet neighborhood. If you work nightshift, this is perfect! I am a travel nurse and I was worried about staying close to the hospital out of fear of the homeless population that trenches through town, you don’t have anything to worry about in this secluded street. The view out your door is of Mt Lassen and Kevin’s gorgeous horses. Truthfully, I didn’t spend much time in the apartment as this location is an outdoor mecca, but it is more than accommodating. Kevin & Mallory are amazing humble people!

Adorable Guest House

I stayed here while working as a traveler at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. This place is perfect! Good size, updated, and has all the furnishing needed. The views of Mt. Shasta are incredible! Very easy drive to Mercy (less than 15 minutes). Kevin and Mallory are great hosts and they made my stay very comfortable. They were very helpful if I needed anything as well. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful guest house!
