Avoid This Rental

I rented a room at the property during the Fall of 2025. The live-in homeowner refused to turn on central heat even in November; I had to buy a space-heater for my bedroom. He also refused to spend money to hire a plumber to fix the overflowing toilet in the bathroom that the tenants use. He even chastised me because the toilet continued to overflow. He told me that one of the other tenants might fix the toilet. He may retort that I was "anti-social," but I admit that given his refusals to provide normal utilities (and the house had central heat--he turned it on for only two evenings, when his relatives were visiting), I did indeed avoid contact with him. Also, he is not renting to travelling professionals. The two other tenants were permanent and not professionals (none of which was a plumber lol).

Great Stay

I rented a bedroom with a shared bath in P's home. Very nice stay and P was a wonderful host. P was very respectful of my privacy. I would stay again if the opportunity is there.

The Best ever host

what a wonderful host. Could not ask for more. Made me feel right at home and is a wonderful chef as well. room is large and the yard is great for my puppies. The parking is great as well. Very easy to get to the blueline if you work at MGH. P really made me feel at home during the holidays as well. If i come back to Boston this is were i will stay. The place is Hassell free.
