Great Unit

We hosted two couples from overseas for a baptism and stayed in this lovely second-floor unit for a month. It was ideal for our needs, with two spacious bedrooms and a smaller one for the child. The landlord was very friendly and responsive, which was especially helpful given the short notice. The apartment is clean, well-maintained, safe, and located in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place for our summer visit

We came to Connecticut to visit our son, daughter-in-law and help care for our new granddaughter. We were delighted to find this apartment and it met all our criteria and served all our needs. It was located only a five minute walk to our son's apartment with lots of amenities within a few blocks. As a first floor apartment it pampered our old arthritic knees. It has two bedrooms so we could have additional family come and visit. It is nicely furnished with lovely old wood floors and the beds were comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided in the kitchen -- since it was there, I even learned how to use a crock pot. Loads of extra sheets and towels and storage space was more than ample. A private fenced backyard allowed for sitting outside where we could watch the lightening bugs at night. It was perfect for us! The owner was so nice and friendly and the price was reasonable as well. We only hope the apartment is available the next time we come for a long visit.

We Loved Our Stay!

We spent a fantastic 6 months in J's lovely flat. It's bright, cozy, quiet, and has a wonderfully appointed kitchen. We loved being able to walk to the local grocery store, wine shop, and bookstore. East Rock Park is right down the road and has miles of hiking trails to explore. We look forward to staying here again when we are back in the area!

You will love your stay!!!!

This upper apartment and J are amazing! We stayed here for a year and half!!! This is a huge space, 2 levels of house! Everything is nice and clean. Anytime anything came up J was ALWAYS on top of it and made our stay phenomenal! I would highly recommend and if I come back Ill stay here! Thanks again J for a great experience and stay!

Amazing!!

One word. AMAZING!!! This quaint little gem was exactly what my fellow travel buddy and I were looking for when we took the assignment at YNHH. Cozy, ample space for 2, and in a quiet safe neighborhood not too far from work. There is a wonderful local pub and grocery shop just walking distance up the street. Jen and her husband are very responsive to anything you might need and have great recommendations for food, activities, and sights to see in the area. Will definitely stay again if I take another assignment in the area.

Great for a family on sabbatical

This property was perfect for my family while we were in the New Haven area for a faculty sabbatical. The apartment had everything we needed for our family of 4, plus a dog and was well-decorated and cozy. We also loved the location, with restaurants, library, a playground, and post office within walking distance. The owners were also very responsive and seem to be really wonderful people. We strongly recommend this listing!

Perfect for Travel Nurses

This place is perfect! Jen was amazing with making accommodations for my roommate and our fur-babies, and was attentive to any needs that came up. The house is beautiful with lots of natural light and has everything you could need for your time here to feel like home. The location is close enough to the city to easily get to where you need to be, but far enough to enjoy the privacy it provides. We will miss this place!

Perfect for Travel Nurses

Jen was so so accommodating to all our needs. She always sent us updates, and was very attentive as a host. We really appreciated her hospitality. If me and adam were to ever come back to Connecticut, this would definitely be the spot we would stay! I would highly recommend staying here if you are contracted at Yale New Haven. You are only 10 minutes away from the hospital. If there is ever traffic problems, you can always get around it living in Hamden. We were very close to all our needs always, and the neighborhood is very friendly and safe.
