Marilyn is the best!!!!

M was an amazing host!! Her house is in a quiet/safe neighborhood. She was more than accommodating and bakes delicious oatmeal cookies! The house was always clean and my room was spacious and comfortable. She definitely provides a great home away from home!!

Cozy Stay

I enjoyed my 13 week stay with M. Her house is very clean and quiet. I always felt safe in her neighborhood and went on many walks. I worked nights and M was very considerate of my sleep schedule. She was helpful in navigating her neighborhood and local restaurants/parks/stores. As described I had full access to her kitchen, laundry room, outside patio, upstairs bathroom, and off street parking. My room was large with enough closet space. I had no troubles sleeping. She's a wonderful gardener and always has fresh flowers, herbs, and veggies during summertime.

Great cozy stay

I was only there for a few short months while working in Springfield but it was a nice and comfortable stay. Marilyn was very polite and considerate of my time and gave me flowers and plants to take home for my wife's birthday one week. The house was always quiet and clean. I had notice when her family visited for a few days and it was a pleasant experience overall.

Wonderful stay

I had a wonderful time living with M for 6 months. She was very responsive and respectful to all of my needs. I had a full room, closet, and bathroom available. The home was always clean, and cozy while I was there. If her lovely home isn't enough for you to stay, M herself is equally lovely. She even left me a Christmas card and candy when I drew the short straw to work on Christmas that year. If I work in Springfield again, I would love to stay here.

Great price isn't always a positive experience

This location is great especially if call is required. The rent price was one of the cheapest I found in the Springfield area. However, this has been the most negative, stressful, and challenging experiences renting a room since I began working 13 week contracts 7 years ago. When her family was visiting she was very rude, You are expected to write your work and call schedule on a calender, If you go out she wants to know details, I mentioned to her several times that my room was too warm, which She did purchase a portable air conditioner, however it was only working about 2 weeks afterwards. My full deposit was not returned with no reason given, and this is just to mention a few things. I would not recommend renting this space. Should you decide to rent this space I hope your experience is more positive than mine.
