Just what I was looking for

Very welcoming and friendly. Day 1, I was welcomed to sit at the dining table to get to know the family and share fruit. There is 1 room upstairs with a private bathroom (pictured in photos), as well as 5 rooms downstairs. I was offered the upstairs room, but I decided to stay downstairs in a room that had everything (comfortable bed, rack for clothes, shelves and drawers, small desk/chair, as well as a window with natural light!). There was even a conveniently located area with a microwave and refrigerator. The other guests were long-term tenants who work full-time jobs. They were very quiet and polite; I rarely saw them. There are 3 bathrooms downstairs. I shared with one person, and it was never an issue. The bathroom could be cleaner, especially the shower, but still usable. Bring your own towel, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. The neighborhood is beautiful; plenty of street parking. Private entrance to the lower level. Perfect for my needs. I felt safe and happy!

Please be aware that the room shown in the photos is not the room you will be staying in. You will not have access to a kitchen and you will be sharing a bathroom with many other people. The basement of the home (where the actual bedroom is) has up to 5 other people living there. I left after one night as this place was not for me.
