A home away from home

I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. The entire downstairs level is part of the rental, with lots of privacy. The spacious bedroom had a comfortable bed, a walk-in closet, and a private bathroom. The unit is clean and well-maintained, with access to all appliances. Im a travel nurse working night shifts. I got a lot of sleep during the day without any disturbances. The host was very kind and considerate and promptly responded to my requests. The place is conveniently located (within a 3-5 mile range) near numerous shops, restaurants, and hospitals. I certainly enjoyed being just 10 minutes away from the hospital where I worked. I was sad to leave, but if I'm ever back, this rental will be my first stop if it's available. I highly recommend this place, especially to my fellow travel nurses who are looking for a home away from home.

Wonderful host with a serene property

The property is in a serene neighborhood with a pool and ready access to a beautiful running/hiking trail and access to a river to swim. The accommodation itself is very private and spacious and has great natural lighting with a back porch room. All of the communally shared assets (washer/dryer, dishwasher etc..) are very high quality and cleanly. The host is very kind, I enjoyed sharing casual conversation with her in the kitchen on occasion. I had some timeline shifts at work and she was very understanding even allowing me to extend the lease as needed. Overall the price for the location is excellent and I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Charlottesville area.

You have found a gem!!!

I traveled 4.5 hours weekly to work at UVA, and this place truly became my home away from home. Your host could not be more kind and courteous. The unit is well kept and inviting. And the location, a corner unit with a wooded area behind the house, made it so peaceful even for me- a day sleeper!! The distance to local hospitals and food and shopping is easy to navigate. I do not think I would look back as favorably on my Charlottesville experience, had I not found this gem. Forever grateful to A!!

I was so lucky to stay here. I came to Charlottesville as a travel nurse- A welcome me to the area and provided a wonderful place to live. There is so much personal space, a great view, it is a well kept home. A is always friendly and answers any questions and is always willing to help out if anything is needed. The space is large and quiet and in an amazing location!
