Great place and neighborhood!

I stayed here during a summer internship and really enjoyed it! The house was well maintained, well furnished, and had everything we needed. Hank was always quick to respond, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!!

VERY dirty unit ! Sheets were torn , expected to wash dishes in the garage with little water pressure and few utensils . Dog feces on level of laundry room area for weeks within view . Fans were never cleaned and full of dust . Step to unit not secured to entry . Owner parked car in garage where I was expected to wash dishes . Entry was through a main house door where there was little privacy . Smoke detector missing in laundry room area . Gate to lower level where washer dryer was located was broken at the latch so banged when windy . Owner installed a new washer / dryer in garage after a few weeks right next to the sink where dishes were to be washed and it leaked all over garage floor for a day which he never cleaned up . Rental should not be allowed !!!

Great Location Very Private & Quiet

We both extended our contracts @ Stanford because we loved our fellow employees & our housing situation. Hank is very responsive and is always available if needed. He even volunteered to help watch our fur baby on a few occasions. The neighborhood is very woodsy and peaceful. Very mellow. All we could have asked for.

Beautiful place!

Had an amazing stay at this unit!! Landlord was so great and friendly and the neighborhood is beautiful! The apartment itself is super nice and was so comfortable to stay in! Had the best time and missing california <3

Great spot for travel nurses

Great spot to stay for short-term stay. Beautiful area with lots of places to hike around. Very close to freeway and just about 20-25 min drive to Stanford. Hank was a great landlord, very responsive and respectful. Would stay here again if I had another travel contract in the bay!

Perfect place to stay!

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Its in a really good and safe location nestled up in the hills on San Carlos, but close to a lot of fun places. Hank was amazing and very trustworthy, and went above and beyond to help make it a great stay. All of the appliances and everything we needed was provided, and the bed was so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

I stayed at this unit for 10 months while on a travel contract in Redwood City. It is a great unit, very private and its got all you need for a short term stay. Street parking only but very safe. H always made sure I had everything I needed and always communicates effectively and in a timely fashion. Cant recommend his place enough!

A restful place.

I'm a staff physician at Redwood City Kaiser. I stayed here for more than 6 months. This place is a gem. Up in the hills, the crisp fresh air makes you feel like you got away. H is a great host, responsive, there when things come up, and makes you feel comfortable. The location is in a very safe neighborhood. The unit is quiet, the bed is unusually comfortable, and there is enough of a kitchenette for light cooking, with ample refrigerator space. The in unit air conditioner was a real plus during the summer months, and there was always a place to park on the street. This was truly a restful, peaceful place, a place to recharge. I wouldn't think twice about coming back.

Short-term stay with beautiful views and quiet neighbourhood

A great place for a short or long-term stay, nicely furnished with all the little things I could need day-to-day. There's a surprising amount of storage space. The layout provides a nice separation between the rooms, which was convenient for working from home. The internet is reliable and consistently fast; I had no issues working from home as a software engineer (e.g. Zoom meetings over a VPN, SSH, etc). The wifi access point is in the unit and a wired connection is also there if you need it. The neighborhood is beautiful and surrounded by trees. It's a lovely and relaxing place to walk around before or after work. There are some steep inclines and several steps to/from the rental unit. Shade from the trees keep the space a consistently cool temperature. Nice on hot days, but you might need to turn the heat on for cooler days. The owner is friendly, helpful, and quick to reply to messages.

Great for travel nurses!

This unit is perfect for any travel nurse or individual looking for a place that is a home away from the city life. Beautiful location with hiking trails nearby. Close enough to stores and freeway on ramps that you dont feel too remote. 25min drive to Stanford Hospital without traffic. Unit is quite and comfortable, with new amenities. Landlord is respectful of privacy and very approachable and kind.
