Once In A Lifetime

Ray and Joan have created an incredibly comfortable and welcoming place in Seaside. When I moved in, the bungalow was spotless, cozy, and surprisingly well-heated. It has everything you need for simple, private livingincluding space for a camper and full kitchen amenities (air fryer, blender, etc.). This has truly been my best rental experience. Their sweet dogs, Dave and Luna, are adorable and affectionateI was once nervous around dogs, but they changed that completely. Joan and Ray are more than just great hoststheyve felt like family. Joan always communicated with kindness and respect, never in a harsh or intrusive way. As a young travel professional, Ive stayed in many places, but this oneand these peoplewill be missed dearly. Im so grateful I found this gem. Its absolutely worth every penny.

Terrific Experience!!!!

What a terrific experience it was to stay in "The Bung". The hosts were so kind, welcoming and wonderful!!! The accomodations were also excellent and the whole experience helped to make my summer in the Monterey Peninsula a fantastic experience!!

Perfect for Travelers

I loved my time living here! I lived here for 11 months and Ray & Joan thought of everything to make the space work for itself. Comfortable bed. Lots of storage space. I did a lot of cooking in the kitchen. Nice location. I felt safe in my apartment and safe parking my car on the driveway. Ray and Joan went above and beyond to address any needs of mine quickly and efficiently, especially during this past year with COVID. They were wonderful landlords and care about their tenant being happy with their space. Highly recommend this place!

Ideal for a traveler

I have had a great experience living in this adorable bungalow by the sea. Joan and Ray really thought of everything to make this a home away from home for me (or anyone). I decided to leave my current travel assignment, or I would have continued to stay here without a doubt. Great privacy and safety. Good sized kitchen that I cooked in often. Plenty of storage and extra touches that have made my stay here great. Really everything I needed was provided, and Joan and Ray immediately and effectively addressed any concerns I had. Highly recommend.
