My HB home

It was my best stay, my best home in Orange County! The host, Paula, is a lovely woman who will make your stay elegant, comfortable, welcoming, and more. The apartment is spacious (almost 1,000 square feet), and everything is new, clean, and beautifully designed. There is so much natural light, along with lovely indoor lighting and dimmers. The bathroom spoiled me with the heated electric toilet seat! Everything works perfectly, the water pressure, the air conditioning, the nice shades at the terrace, etc. You will love every moment!!! The beautiful beaches are only a 5-minute drive away, and you can even enjoy the sunset from home. The lakes nearby are gorgeous -real nature, and I could even watch owls nesting there. Huntington Beach itself is charming and elegant, with grocery stores, malls, and culture, you can find everything there. I only wish I had found this place as soon as I arrived to teach during the Spring semester at CSULB.

Our CA place

We travel every year to Cali and have come here for the last four years. This is our home away from home! It is very comfortable and secure. The host is very generous and meets any request or needs immediately. Central Park is located across the street and has a healthy three-mile walking path, along with fun events. The adult center is a fun way to meet others, play games, line dance and work out at the gym. The beach is close and convenient. We look forward to coming back again!

Exceptional opportunity

My experience staying at Paula's retreat rental has been extraordinary in every way. The space is bright & inviting with a living room open to a cool breeze coming in from the balcony that you can enjoy by overlooking a gorgeous expansive park with a lake to walk or just to enjoy the view is breathtaking. The bedroom is equipped with a desk & queen size bed that puts you in slumberland as soon as you snuggle into it. Not to mention your own washer & dryer. Paula ( the landlord) is one of those rare human beings that treats you like a family member and is truly the hostess with the mostess! This is truly a gem and wish I could give it more than 5 stars in every aspect of my stay. I feel blessed to have found this paradise in Huntington Beach. My only regret is not being able to stay indefinitely.

I had a fantastic experience at Paula's place! The unit is really clean and very well maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home, with everything I could possibly need thoughtfully provided. Beyond the excellent condition of the unit, Paula is exceptional. Her communication was always prompt and clear, and she was incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. She has such a happy, cheerful spirit and truly cares about her tenants! I highly recommend this rental!

Home Away From Home

I recently stayed at Paula's apartment and everything you read about in the description and the other reviews is true. It truly is a wonderful place, and Paula is such a kind and sweet host. She is always available and is very accommodating. And her cookies are absolutely delicious, a must try (especially if you freeze them... don't knock it till you try it, for some reason they taste even better frozen)! The location is in a safe and nice neighborhood, right next to a park that is great to walk or run around. The beach is very nice and about a 10 minute drive away. Little tip for accessing the beach, I recommend parking in the nearby neighborhoods to avoid having to pay for metered parking. Just be careful to read the signs, since some days are street cleaning days, and you cannot park between certain times). There is a grocery store a few minutes away by car, and plenty of other stores in the nearby area. I highly recommend this property, and greatly enjoyed my stay. Paula is very friendly and makes your stay feel like a home away from home!

Home away fron home

We recently had the pleasure of staying at P's house, and it truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to our wonderful landlord. She was not only sweet and welcoming but also ensured that the property was meticulously clean and maintained. P was very respectful of our space and privacy, making our stay remarkably quiet and serene, especially important for me as a night shift travel nurse. One of the delightful surprises was her amazing baking skills-her homemade cookies were a treat we looked forward to! The neighborhood itself was safe and peaceful. Right next to it, there's a fantastic park which was great for morning jogs and evening strolls. We absolutely loved our stay and appreciated the warm and comfortable environment. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for accommodation. Thank you for making our stay so special!

You are gonna love it!

P has been wonderful and nothing but accommodating to us as a host! The house is right next to a huge park and lake which are great for walking and winding down. The climate is amazing and we always love having the balcony door open for the night breeze. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Huge amount of private space for the price, can't ask for much else. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!

Loved this apartment!

My husband and I loved our stay at P's apartment! We are both travel nurses and found the unit to be a perfect fit for us during our contract. P is hands down the most hospitable and accommodating landlord-her cookies are delicious too! Prior to our stay here, we had not rented a unit with shared entry; however, this was never a problem as P is very respectful of her tenants space. The location is also in such a fun spot in Huntington Beach. We enjoyed the proximity to the coast and felt so safe in the neighborhood. I would highly this apartment!

LOVED IT!!!

My husband and I stayed in this property, for the second time, for seven beautiful months! As a traveler Nurse I need a quiet, comfortable place where to truly feel at home and recoup every day. Since my awesome husband works from home, he needs a spacious, comfortable, and nice place to be for long periods a day. We found it in Paula and Michaels place, plus much more. This is a real treat. Everything works as they describe it, including the delicious cookies! They are on top of things for whatever you might need from them. Very respectful, awesome couple that you will love a lot! We do!! :)

Amazing home!

Paula and Michael’s home was my home away from home. Their house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of parking. The unit is spacious, fully furnished, nicely decorated, cozy, well-lit and had blackout curtains that allowed me to get some rest after my long shifts. It also has A/C, heater and a full refrigerator. The couple was always readily available if I needed anything but also respected my privacy. And I can’t forget Toots 🐶 who was always friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this home for fellow travel nurses!
