Perfect, cozy place near kirkland parks/waterfront!

Loved this little hideaway in a cute/popular DT Kirkland neighborhood! Good lighting, quiet, clean, nicely furnished and separate entrance from the house which was preferred. Short drive to the waterfront and stores (could even walk) and one really nice park connected to the Kirkland Cross Corridor trail about a block away. Great place to take some time to reflect and recharge! Landlord was amazing. Would stay here again. Thanks, Sarah!!

Super cozy and convenient!

This place is just such a perfect, cozy nest while staying on the east side of Lake Washington. The bed is super comfortable, the whole apartment has attractive and comfy furnishings and the neighborhood is super quiet and safe. I stayed here for two months while on a travel nursing assignment at Evergreen Hospital and this place was so convenient to the hospital. I didn't have a car, and the bus stop to take the bus to Totem Lake Transit Center (right by the hospital) was just a lovely 10 minute walk. Easy peasy. If you prefer biking, the Kirkland Corridor bike path can be accessed right down the street and basically goes right to Totem Lake (again, right in the neighborhood of the hospital). The apartment is just the right size for one person or two people who are super tolerant of each other! The kitchen is really only set up for very basic cooking: hot plate, microwave, small refrigerator, etc. S is incredibly kind and totally gets the needs of travel nurses! Highly recommend!

Fungalow

I stayed at the Fungalow for 6 months while on a travel contract at Evergreen (10 minute drive) The apartment is quiet and private as you are above the detached garage to the rear of the property. The kitchen is scaled down but I had everything I needed to make my own meals and do basic cooking. Bed is tucked into the alcove and is super comfortable. Towels, sheets, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, even shampoo and soap were all ready for me when I checked in. Bring your clothes and you're set! Easy walk to Kirkland corridor, downtown, or Juanita Bay. Owner is great. Recommended!!

Love...love...love

The Fungalow was one of my favorite home away from homes. Located in a beautiful area in Kirkland WA. It offers walking distance to parks, trails and Lake Washington. The area also affords easy access to downtown Seattle or north to Bellingham and Vancouver. I especially loved the large window above the bed where I had fresh air and stars to look at each night. The owner Sarah was attentive, gracious, and very kind. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome. As a travel nurse safety is very important and I have to say I was able to sleep without worry in the studio. Loved It!!
