Fabulous landlords and perfect cottage

I stayed in this charming Monterey cottage for my 7 month travel nursing assignment and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect-quiet, safe, and just minutes from everything. The cottage was immaculate upon arrival and truly 'turn-key.' The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook, and the bed was extremely comfortable. C and A the owners were amazing, communicative, and ensured I had everything I needed throughout my stay. There is a private fenced in patio made for a perfect, peaceful retreat after long shifts. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to the area for work or a long-term stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cottage

I really enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely return. It's a great location, close to CHOMP and SVMH, as well as plenty to do in Pacific Grove, Monterey, and Carmel. The cottage had just about everything I needed. No laundry on site but there are more than enough laundromats and laundry services nearby. C and A and their pets are lovely hosts, very accommodating and neighborly. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I would recommend this cottage to any of my friends looking for a place to stay while on a contract in the area.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage is a cute, cozy place tucked back in C & As zen garden/yard. Suitable for one person or a close couple used to sharing their space. It has vintage charm & gets a lot of natural light during the day. Night shifters would probably want an eye mask to sleep. Full kitchen for cooking & a petite bath to relax in. A couple blocks from the laundromat, Safeway & Trader Joes. Very close to CHOMP & an easy 30 min. drive to SVMH. There is a nice, fenced patio to relax on when the weather gets warmer. We were able to park our bicycles there.. the coastal trail is down the hill. Would be glad to stay again if we return to Monterey.

Character, privacy, and convenience!

I lived in this cottage for 8 months and loved it! C and A are great hosts and very accommodating. The cottage is very private. It's a freestanding building at the back of the yard, with its own fenced-in patio area. Once you're back there, you're in your own little world, however you do have to walk through the main house's driveway and backyard garden path to get to it. C and A are often outside doing projects or yard work. They are very friendly, and always up for a quick chat, but definitely respect your privacy. The vibe on the property is artsy and a little funky (in a good way, I think!) with lots of character. Super convenient to CHOMP, grocery stores, beaches, and everything in Monterey/Pacific Grove. No laundry onsite, but there are several laundromats and wash and fold services very nearby.
