Wonderful Experience

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Furnished Finder property. The landlord went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and stress-free. The home was exceptionally clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept place to stay.

Home Away From Home

I stayed in Sandys home for 2-1/2 months while completing my medical rotations at St. John's Hospital and it felt like my home-away-from-home. Sandy cares about her travelers and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Her home is in a beautiful safe neighborhood close to the freeway, shopping plazas, restaurants and beaches. She has an adorable little dog named Kivi. I highly recommend her.

Wonder Landlord

The owner is a wonder lady with much to respect, helped me emotionally and taught me many things. Transparency is key being roommates with anyone. She has a dog named Keevie, always tries to feed her roommates and teaches them many important life lessons through her own experiences in the past. Hard working, clean and respectable.

Clean and quiet

I stayed here for over a year and it was a wonderful experience. Sandy has 3 different furnished rooms and that are all clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and within walking distance to Wal-Mart and several restaurants.

Just to let travel nurses and healthcare providers know that I only rent out 1 furnished bedroom at a time. I try to make each traveller feel comfortable and I keep a clean, quiet home.

Amazing Landlord!

Sandy is an incredible landlord and woman. She goes out of her way to make anyone feel welcomed and comfortable. The bedroom on the first floor is spacious with a nice bed and brand new Smart TV. Personal bathroom and laundry room within steps of bedroom. Wonderful and safe neighborhood. Very close to shopping and restaurants. I loved staying here!

Amazing!

Marissa called me on the phone thru Furnished Finder and said she was driving from Missouri to Calif. as she had a contract as an occupational physical therapist near my house. Her contract was was for 13 weeks, but was extended to 6 months. She's one of my favorite roomies - very polite and considerate -- and fun to be around. We shared some meals and had lots of conversation.I know we'll keep in touch - and I'll have happy memories of her!!!!

Disappointed

Never got my deposit back. Don't bother with this woman and her neurotic dog. Clean house in good/quiet neighborhood was the only high point. I shared a bathroom with a man. Maybe this is acceptable for a short-term Airbnb situation, but not for anything longer term. No desk or chair in the bedroom. Live and learn.

Donna, a psych nurse, rented my large furnished bedroom from Dec. 16th to January 31, 2020 - approx. 6 weeks. I was called by a her staffing agency, who gave me this information - and I mentioned to the female that the bathroom will be shared with a male - who's a medic in the navy. I then spoke to Donna on the phone and I told her it's sharing the bathroom with a male medic -- so she was definitely aware of this. Plus - he's very clean and quiet. A few days prior to January 26th, she told me that she'll be moving out early on Jan. 26th. She asked what time I would like her to move out and I said "any time is fine with me." She actually moved out in the middle of the night on January 26 - and left the key to my front door on my computer." Pretty shocking!!! When she arrived, I charged her rent for one month and only asked for $100 deposit since she was only going to be here for 6 weeks. I also prorated her rent for Jan.16 thru Jan. 25 (rent should have been paid thru Jan. 31st.) After she sneaked out of my house, I emailed her to ask for her home address as I wanted to mail her the $100 deposit. On Jan. 27th I sent her a check thru my on-line Chase account - the following day she emailed me about not getting the check. I said, you'll get it in a day or two. Again, she emailed about the check. I went to my account and realized that Chase was mailing it the following week (after 5 business days) - since I didn't have her bank account number. I then let her know that she'll be receiving it before 2 weeks and I explained why. I asked what she needed when she moved in - and she never requested anything. Now, she's complaining about not having a desk and a chair (I have several chairs I could have given her) and she knew from my ad on FF that a desk wasn't in the room. When she arrived, I gave her a beautiful Christmas present. A couple of weeks later, I took her to lunch at the Marina - where we spent several hours chatting. She told me about her very sad childhood and adult life - she suffers from mental illness. She called my 8 lb. lhasa "neurotic." She's projecting her personality onto my dog - who's sweet and loveable. I've had many roomies - and they all said that I'm the BEST landlord -- and I agree.
