Beware of this landlord! Please do not rent from her.

I had a very similar experience to another reviewer. She rented me the room for $700 with a $250 deposit. She seemed sweet at first. The only odd thing was her internet, it had a data cap. If you work from home, the data runs out quickly, and it slows to a crawl. I had to use my hotspot for about 20 days. She acted like she didnt know why it was slow, but the internet provider confirmed she had the cheapest plan. When I told her, she just said, Yes, dont use too much internet. It was awkward. Before moving out, I asked how she wanted the room cleaned. She never answered, just said, Leave it as it was. I cleaned everything except vacuuming. When I said I was leaving, her demeanor completely changed. She got aggressive, listed made-up issues, and refused to return my deposit. When I apologized and offered to vacuum, she yelled, slammed a book, threatened to call the cops, and refused to give me the deposit. I was shocked and scared. Please dont rent from her, youll regret it.
