Love these kids!!

Such an inviting place to stay! I hit it off with Will, Kat and Ash from the word go! The vibe in the house is very welcoming and very warm, heck I stayed nine months! They are extremely knowledgeable about the local area and know all the best places to go. Beyond the vibe, the home is very clean and well-maintained. Security is top-notch and privacy is very well respected for being a room in a house. I never felt intruded upon nor did I feel like I was intruding I would go back in a heartbeat. I cant say enough about the family I made there.

Easy to find, off the main roads

A great welcoming place to stay right off major roads. Easy to find and plenty of places to park on the street. W, K and Ash (dog) are kind and respectful of privacy. It is safe and was a comfortable environment. When I couldn't find another place for next contract, I was able to stay another week until I found one. They are both knowledgeable of the area with trails to do and things to see. Easy to talk to when have a difficult day or just in general. This house is definitely on my list to return to should I get back up this way.

Great place for a traveler

W and K are great people to live with. They are friendly, relaxed, and give you your own space. I am currently living at this location and will be moving out by the end of June for my next travel assignment. Would 100 percent stay here again. Also, the house is located off of a Main Street within a friendly and quiet neighborhood comprised mostly by young families. Its close by to the highway and lets you commute to any location in a quick timeframe!

Like Staying With Good Friends

From day 1 staying here was like staying with old friends. W & K are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and I could not have asked for a better experience staying with them. The room was cute & cozy, and Will made it very easy to coordinate details of my stay. He & K were wonderful in helping introduce me to the area, and made it so hard to leave when it was time to move out, and I don't know what I would have done without them. Also Ash is the sweetest dog on the planet.

Best stay!

Loved my stay with W and K (& A !). I felt so welcome and am beyond grateful for my time with them. If youre a solo traveler like me its so nice to have built in friends. Theyve got plenty of recs for local hikes or spots to grab a drink. If I wind up back in the area, theres no other place Id consider for my housing. Move-in/move-out was super easy. Absolutely no complaints. :) hopefully our paths will cross again!

Easy street parking, good proximity to stores, restaurants, and highway.

Best Place I've Stayed so far!

W and K are simply amazing and there is no better way to put it. The day I called W to set up housing, he made it super easy and was extremely flexible with my move in. Not only are they super accommodating but I had built in best friends since day one. My dog also had a best friend as well, Ash! The house was always clean, welcoming, and supportive of my job even on the bad days. They make you feel like family when you have no family within the bordering states. We had many adventures and they always tell me "your room is always here waiting for you to come back!" I will definitely stay again if I'm ever in Chicopee!

Functional, Clean, Welcoming and Respectful

This house was fully equipped with modern appliances, a remodeled bathroom, a usable and clean kitchen, street parking, and just about everything you would expect at your own home. W and K were very easy going and fun to be around. They were very generous with their space and items. I was allowed to use their power tools and mechanical equipment to do some work on my car in their back yard. They even let me stay a few days after my original move out date for my convenience, free of charge. Will accepts Venmo as payment. Their dog Ash was well trained and never bothered me, but he definitely appreciated some attention! There were a few other dogs in the house which was never an issue but definitely allowed for a lot of excitement. Above all else W and K were reasonable, accommodating and willing to help.

A welcoming home away from home :-)

Will & Kat (& Ash the dog) are welcoming hosts, while being respectful of privacy and having a quiet house overnight. They helped make starting a new job away from home during COVID doable for me, as well as enjoyable. I really appreciated being able to keep a bike in their garage, so I could cycle-commute to work. Convenient location close to I-90, and shopping/restaurants, while being in a quiet neighborhood.

A Classy & Cozy Refuge - Exceeded Expectations!

After losing my family in a pandemic, I needed a safe place until relocating out of state. My 1st choice (a single older lady) was booked. So, arriving depressed & afraid, I didn't know what to expect since the property owner was out of town for my 1st week. Yet, Will made the process easy with 2 ways to pay rent online (Paypal or Venmo) & a high-tech access code to the door. The home is lovely. Only 1 house-rule to clean up after yourself. No problem! ~Yet, on day #2, I was appalled to hear sexual noises from 1 room (with door ajar) echoing through the house (very disturbing!). This tennant & his new girlfriend later left a greasy mess in the kitchen that me & another house-mate cleaned up prior to the owners return. Luckily, this utter disregard of the shared space was not tolerated, the fellow was asked to leave soon after the owner returned, & peace was restored. ~In such a stressful time, the hospitality & kindness shown was above & beyond! I'm so grateful for Will, Kat, & Ash!

The best place in Mass!

I absolutely adore Will,Kat, and Ash ;) I highly recommend staying at this property, its very clean and all around good vibes! I was hesitant moving into a strangers house, but I can assure you we left good friends! Will and Kat took me in while I was doing a nursing assignment. They have amazing hospitality, and looked out for me. They always made sure to include me in activities on my off days. Will and Kat took me out on their boat and showed me some amazing views and helped me make some awesome memories! They invited me out to dinner on Fathers Day since I was unable to spend it with my family. They made sure everything was up to date and they redid my bathroom, it was beautiful!An added bonus was the in house massages with Kat! Shes a massage therapist and let me tell you my back and feet always thanked her after my long 12 hour shifts!!!They are awesome the house is beautiful I would recommend them time and time again if you are looking for a great stay at a better price!

Awkward, rude

Not a pleasant stay here... very awkward as the couple that own the house were constantly fighting, and when I went to extend my stay, they had rented the room out from under me to another renter who was already staying there in a different room. Zero stars.

Last minute save

I stayed with Will while waiting for my travel partner to finish her assignment and join me to rent a place. I was fortunate to enjoy a shared space with people respectful of the house and each other. The location was close to work and I would stay again.

awesome experience :)

Awesome landlord and great amenities. Will takes time to show you around town, tell you where the good food spots are, local things to do and near Boston too. Always willing to help when you need and or ask for it. Takes care of any issues promptly and thoughtfully. Cute and cozy home is very welcoming. I miss Will and his house I came to call home for 6, almost 7 months :)

Home Away from Home

Very welcoming household with all the amenities (use of essentials in the pantry, W&D, plenty of parking, helping hand to dig your car out of the snow). Will was a very laid back landlord: flexible with changing move out date after my extension and didn't get upset when I accidentally sent the fancy kitchen knives through the dishwasher. Made some great friends with other travelers and visitors passing through the house, would 100% recommend to any traveler working in the Springfield area

Sweet Home Massachusetts

Wills home was comfortable and a friendly home away from home during my travel assignment. Two furnished rooms to choose from with plenty of space. Both on street and off street parking available in a safe and quiet area. W&D in the basement and plenty of kitchen space if you love to cook! Will was a fantastic and thoughtful landlord. The house was a simple 2 exits away from BayState Hospital. I would 100% rent again if my travels lead me back to Springfield.
