Nature Lovers Dream!

Eve and Rick are the most welcoming and friendly hosts EVER! From the moment I arrived I could tell their company would be most welcomed. As Shelly said in her review, they are very respectful of space if you want it but also open their arms for you to be a part of their home if you want that too! The farmhouse is the home where Eve grew up! If you love animals, the wildlife is very abundant from the two horses, barn kitty, and dozens of birds that visit daily at the kitchen window bird feeders. Owls hoot at night as well as other frequently seen animals on the Appalachian Trail and visit around the house. I definitely got great wildlife pictures. My stay was for 6 months in the small bedroom off of the kitchen. The dresser is a great size and plenty of hangers for your clothing. Large Washer/Dryer upstairs! Towels and linen was provided. It is a quick 12 minute drive to the hospital, which is great after a long day.

Amazing place to stay!!!!

This really is a hidden gem!!! Right off the highway, but you don't even notice. Hiking trails, able to see the stars, and the best company (if wanted). Eve (home owner) is very respectful of space as well as welcoming if you so choose to be a part roommate life! In home animals are sweet and loving, outdoor animals sweet and loving and leave you alone if you so choose. Her home is clean and has everything you may need, very comfortable and right near the lake and bike path! Highly recommend this stay/space Eve, and the animals!
