Unprofessional owner & misleading listing

I rarely leave negative feedback but cant let this slide. I have stayed here for 4 days. My travel contract got changed and had to leave. Owner kept $400 deposit and $1300 rent. I have called text no answer.Go figure !! No point of flying back from VA and taking things to small claim court.Condo is 20 min walk to John Muir. Condo is not clean as stated. If you can afford 300k condo you can also afford cleaning supplies to clean your place.

Amazing location, very comfortable

I stayed with Rick from March 2020 to February 2021 and I could not have asked for a better roommate or place to live. Rick is a Bay Area native and has given me countless recommendations for this things to do?from hikes to restaurants to the must sees at Lake Tahoe, Rick is tremendously knowledgable of the area. Furthermore he really a genuinely kind person and throughout my stay, he has become a good friend. Upon arriving at his place, he went out of his way to make me feel at home. He checked in throughout my stay to see if I needed anything and even, on a number of occasions, cooked dinner for me. His apartment is spacious and is kept clean and tidy. The room has a very comfortable bed and stays very quiet throughout the day as it is located in the back of the apartment, and faces away from the road and the main courtyard area. I never had any issues sleeping during the day for a night shift. There is scheduled leaf blowing done by a landscaping company that manages the condominium grounds, however this usually occurs in the midmorning hours. The room is spacious, has plenty of storage space, is equipped with a smart TV, and has a private bathroom immediately outside of it. I could easily work out in the room with the space available. The condominium grounds have a laundry room and a pool onsite (while the pool was closed during my stay due to covid, it is located right outside of the apartment and is consistently maintained). The location of this apartment is fantastic. It is very close to both of the hospitals local to Walnut Creek, and would be an easy commute to other local hospitals. My commute was short enough that I was able to bike to work most nights. That said there is ample onsite parking available and I never struggled to find a spot. The apartment is close to multiple walking/biking trails and is very close to downtown Walnut Creek?there are many great bars and restaurants within walking distance. It is also close enough to the BART that it is easy enough to travel into San Fransisco and throughout the Bay Area. Overall my stay with Rick was enjoyable and I highly recommend staying with him.
