Great Oasis

Janie's luxury cottage was my first impression of Shreveport. Janie accommodated my stay for 2 months. It's a nice private area behind the main house with a nice garden to enjoy nature. I love the cleanliness and service Janie and her team promise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I would stay here again. I recommend this to anyone, whether here for a short visit, for a job trip, or for the convenience of walking into a furnished place. P.S. If you have a chance to share a conversation with Janie, you will enjoy it!

Charming and quiet

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage. It was a quiet oasis after long days on duty. The place was charming and immaculate; the garden was absolutely beautiful; and the owner was professional, charasmatic, and respectful of my privacy during my stay. If I'm working in the area again, I would definitely plan another stay.

Upscale accommodations, beautifully appointed and decorated. Such a quiet peaceful place that is conveniently located. The owner is a kind welcoming spirit who takes great care to exceed all of your needs. I can't wait for my next opportunity to visit.

Janies' Enchanted Cottage

This cottage is such a peaceful oasis. J has thought of everything! First of all, the attention to detail in all aspects of the cottage such as linen, lighting, comfortable but elegant furniture, and fully appointed kitchen made me feel right at home when I first entered the front door. The charming patio and surrounding landscape was like I was visiting a Caribbean island. With all this said, I did get a lot of work done while there as it was so quiet. J's enchanting cottage is a wonderful place to stay

STAY FAR AWAY

This lady is absolutely insane. She goes in the rented space everyday and touches your belonging. Makes false accusations and is extremely racist. Steer clear from this lady, the sweet old lady facade is exactly that. Save your time, money and insanity!

A truly nightmare-

It was a nightmare. If you plan to stay longer, dont . The hostel J, is a rude person. Horrible. She will make false accusations. And also ll go inside of your temporary residence several time without telling you. She ll offend you . Horrible stay. Pas 2226,00. Would stay anyother place but NEVER there again. If you need more informations I have the abusive messages and also have friends that saw her abusive way. Please feel free to contact me. But dont waste your time and your peace at this nightmare

Amazing property and owner!!

I stayed at this property from mid August 2021 to the second week of September. The cottage is beautiful and well maintained, so clean and comfortable! Perfect for one to two people. J is a dream property manager, she was so lovely to interact with. Highly recommend!!

Amazing place!!

This property is absolutely amazing. Ive been travel nursing for almost two years and this is one of the best places Ive stayed at. Its also one of the best places Ive seen between all my travel friends! The patio area is so peaceful and beautiful. The plants and flowers are stunning. The apartment is the perfect size with an amazing kitchen with an in unit washer and dryer. The bathroom is also very spacious with a huge whirl pool tub and a towel warmer! J is super available and helpful for any needs. She washes your towels and exchanges them for clean ones and M the housekeeper comes every other week to clean and change the bed linens. 10/10 recommend for anyone needing a place to stay!!

Perfect

This is the most darling little space, with the most darling host! Janie was a bed and breakfast owner for many years, so she knows how to make guests feel right at home. You have a private patio with lounge chairs and a table. The space inside is immaculately clean and fully equipped with basically everything you need. Janie even washes the towels for you! There is a housekeeper, Megan, that comes in every other week(ish) to change the bedding and clean the place--she is great! The bed is really comfortable, the bathroom is large. The only thing about the bathroom is that you have to kind of climb into the tub to shower/bathe (handrails are available if needed), but the tub is a whirlpool spa tub so it really makes up for it on the nights where you want to relax in a warm bath. I plan on coming back to Shreveport to work at the Ochsner hospital again and will 100% stay with Janie again. I cannot say enough good things about her and her cottage. It is perfect.

Heaven

Beautiful and peaceful. The garden is a wonderful place to have a glass of wine and relax after a day or night of work. The jetted tub just melts the tension of the day away. I MISS THIS PLACE. If you're in the area and need temporary housing, this is the perfect place. The owner lives on the property and is very helpful and one of the sweetest people I've ever met. If I have another assignment in the area I hope it is available.
