3/2.5 Rainbow Retreat in Manoa Valley

Stayed here for three months while on a work trip with my girlfriend and two small morkies and the experience was fantastic. All appliances worked as they should and came with basically everything we needed. If we ever had a question or something, Jessika was always there to help us out. Her and her family were very nice and respectful of our privacy since this is located behind their main house. Street parking was always available. The outdoor area was perfect to let our dogs out real quick if needed. The area is really hilly, which was nice for exercising our dogs. The place is right up against the jungle in the back so we did see some boars from time to time, which was pretty cool. Although the place did not have A/C, the wind came through the windows strong enough that it was not necessary. Overall it was a great experience and now that we see that she completed the renovations, it looks even better than it did when we were there. No complaints, awesome place.

Best experience I've ever had with a host.

My girlfriend and I booked this properly during the pandemic in July 2020. We took a risk knowing that the pandemic could worsen, and that we would potentially have to quarantine upon our arrival to Hawaii. Fast forward a few months, we were about a month out from our trip - the pandemic had not gotten any better, and in fact was worsening by the day in Oahu. We got in touch with Jessika and she went way above and beyond to help coordinate dates, find other tenants to potentially fill our vacancy, and was extremely accommodating when I would've expected other landlords to lose patience. Jessika was patient, kind, and a fantastic communicator, and based off of that alone I would highly recommend you stay with her. At the end of the day we ended up canceling our trip, but Jessika did all that was within her power to help us and find other tenants to take our originally booked slot. Best host experience I've ever had, by far.

Perfect Furnished Space

Perfect space in a very central location! Separate entrance and lots of street parking. Warm home environment. Loved the covered lanai. Owners are wonderful, warm and kind. We are so lucky to have found this place and it was a perfect Introduction in to Hawaii.

Manoa Valley Haven

I rented the space for 6 months while on a nursing contract. This sweet dig backs right up to the jungle--lush with all your native Hawaiian plants and flowers. The lanai was a great for evening drinks/dining/reading, also allowed for protected space for bike, surfboard, hanging clothes to dry, etc. Washer/dryer were brand new. No a/c but given the location and with the windows open the trade winds and high speed fans kept the place cool and comfortable. I appreciated the views of the mountains, the rain showers followed by rainbows, and being tucked away in a safe/quiet neighborhood to rest--also ideal for access to town and beach. Jessika and Matt were excellent hosts--always quick to respond, provided for me whenever I had a need, and were very respectful of my space and sleep/work schedule. Highly recommend!!
