Really nice!!!

Julie, Craig, and Uncle Richie are truly wonderful people. They are incredibly kind, supportive, and caring, and made me feel like part of their family from day one. The property is beautiful, with a beach trail next to the Trump Golf Course. Julie's garden is stunning, full of fragrant flowers and peaceful places to relax. I also loved going to the beach with Craig every Monday and Wednesday. Julie's cooking was always delicious, and I really enjoyed our conversations. Their three dogs are adorable! Willow became my little friend, while Puff and Alfie are sweet and gentle. I'm grateful for such a warm, welcoming home and truly appreciate everything they have done for me. Thank you, Julie, Craig, Uncle Richie, Willow, Puff, and Alfie! I'm planning to stay for three months, and they even told me I'm welcome to come back anytime in the future. Hopefully they won't get tired of me!

It was so hard to leave this place! Julie and Craig are truly the best, and their home is beautiful. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel incredibly welcome-it truly felt like home. I was initially nervous about renting a room, but this experience changed my perspective. The house is spacious, offering both privacy and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Julie and Craig are easygoing, friendly, and don't mind visitors. Plus, the home has extra refrigerators for personal space. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and easy drive or walks to the beaches. I never got tired of watching sunsets or seeing the ocean from my window. Julie's gardens add to the peaceful ambiance. Though a bit further from some areas, the scenic drives make it worth it. I'm so grateful to have found this place. Julie is truly a gem, and I will miss them both so much! They made my LA experience unforgettable.

absolutely the best

Beautiful spacious house , plenty of room to spread out and have your own space. Balconies for overlooking the Pacific Ocean sunsets and peaceful garden to have lunch in on those California afternoons. The hosts J and C are magnificent, always welcoming and accomidating. I will be returning soon

Highly Recommend!

As a first time travel nurse, I was nervous about renting a shared place but I had a wonderful stay. The owners were so warm and welcoming, it really is a home away from home. Also, their dog....sooooo cute! The house is fully furnished and included a W/D, dishwasher, kitchen supplies, coffee machine, etc. I do recommend bringing an eye mask, especially if you work nights like I did as it can get pretty bright during the day. The area is super safe, I parked on the street next to the house and never had any issues. The owners just installed new locks on the doors and there's a motion detector light outside near the gate which is nice to have. The house itself is right across from a golf course and a small public park with lots of trails. You can take one of the ocean trails down to the beach, I believe its about a ten minute walk from the house. Golden Cove Center is a short drive from the house and has a Trader Joes, Starbucks, gas station, etc. Highly recommend staying here!

Walk to the Beach

Such a beautiful home with the most beautiful views. Perfect location in Palos Verdes with Trump National Golf Course right across the street. Very safe neighborhood and access to popular touristy locations like Manhattan, Hermosa, & Redondo Beaches less than 30 minutes away. The best house owners and cutest little dog. Highly recommend staying here!

Home away from Home!

Currently missing being in this home! Took a travel contract in Long Beach (30 mins away - minimal traffic) and I'm very grateful I was able to stay here. It was pretty much like a vacation my whole stay in Cali. My room was very spacious and I was happy to have my own bathroom, a shared patio right outside room, and a shared patio space (overlooking the ocean and Santa Catalina Island). The shared laundry room was also convenient. I had my own mini fridge were I stored all my food and also used their fridge when I ran out of space. This was my first time in Cali and I was happy to share a space with very nice people and feel like I was at home away from home. J and C were awesome house parents. My priorities were SAFETY, PARKING, and Private room/bathroom - which this place has!! You are in one of the best locations in the city. Beach 5 mins walk and amazing views from hike 5 mins up. *** call J for availability - sometimes it says not available when in fact it is!!!

Home away from home

This place was beautiful! My stay here was more like being with family than being a tenant. House parents came included :) The hosts were more than kind and generous, they went above and beyond. The room was large, the bed amazingly comfortable, the bathroom more than spacious and the balcony was a nice spot to relax. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, beautiful walking/running spots, a beach pretty much across the street and the views here are picturesque. I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for the hosts and my memorable stay here.
