Private Entrance Near Lake and Old Town

P & S are the ideal hosts--friendly, thoughtful, conscientious and extremely helpful. P kept the walks shoveled and even provided a special parking space and improvised a charging set-up for my plug-in hybrid. The location is amazing--I frequently walk the .25 mile to Waneka Lake (a lovely 1.25 mile walk around) with spectacular views of the Front Range, sometimes just to take in the night sky with lower ground light. Downtown Lafayette is less than a mile away and it's an extraordinarily inclusive and artsy town with some great restaurants. The apartment is really nice--it's been a cold snowy winter and I've regularly cozied up to the gas fireplace. I'd return in a heartbeat and can't recommend this place enough.

P and S were amazing hosts! Our stay was comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. The apartment included everything you would ever need and P and S were there to help whenever we needed it. Would 100% recommend this stay!!

P and S are wonderful, down to earth people. Any issues that arose during our stay were quickly taken care. Our sidewalks were always shoveled in the snow, and our parking spot always available out front. My husband and I lived here for 9 months and enjoyed every second of it. We never felt like we were "sharing" a space although our landlords were upstairs. The apartment is clean, updated and spacious. We loved our new gas fireplace during the winter months and the overall cozy feel of the apartment. Leaving this place was hard, and we hope others will enjoy the space just as much as we did. I can't recommend this apartment enough!

Five stars aren't enough for this property and especially the hosts of this property. S and P are very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable. A few things that I really enjoyed in particular: 1. Cozy Fireplace. 2. High-Speed Internet. (What a luxury especially for people who work from home.) 3. Spacious Kitchen. 4. Waneka Lake is only a block away! 5. Lafayette Downtown is within walking distance. What else can I say about them, hands-down the best hosts we have ever had! Thanks again, S and P :)

My partner and I stayed here for a few months during the winter months, and we were absolutely blown away by the apartment. Having stayed in basement units before, we weren't expecting much but this is one of the best apartments we've probably ever lived in, basement or not! The unit here is spacious, clean, and gets a surprising amount of natural light from the large windows--and there's a cozy gas fireplace that heats the main space. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the appliances and cookware you'll need (and the landlords even purchased a hot water kettle when we requested one)! Speaking of the landlords, they are the nicest people you'll ever rent from. When our car broke down, Pete not only helped fix it but he went out of his way to go pick up a new car battery that we ordered from Costco (which isn't close). They're incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating--you won't regret renting from them!

I had a wonderful experience living here and even extended my stay. Its the basement unit of the house but has a private entrance so theres plenty of privacy. The gas fire place in the living room is so cozy during winter months, it was my favorite piece of the home. Pete and Susan were great hosts, always available for needs or questions, responded promptly to requests and were just all around good people. Pete took care of any lawn/maintenance, and even shoveled the path from the side door entrance to my car several times, I cant say enough good things about the hospitality.
