Quiet and Clean

Would recommend this spot, It's only a short drive to downtown but is in a quiet, nicer neighborhood. House is very clean and the rooms offer everything I needed, very convenient for people not having to transport a bed or furniture for a room. Bed is comfortable and the tv was nice as well. Anyone who loves the outdoors will dig this spot as Michele is a great recourse of information regarding hiking,biking, and more outdoor related activities. Thank you Michele !

Perfect Home Away From Home

I highly recommend this property! The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything you could possibly need. Michele, the host, is incredibly responsive, kind, and knowledgeable about the area. She always had great suggestions for things to do and local events to check out. And Lexi, her German Shepherd, is such a sweetie. I already miss her! You really cant go wrong with this rental.

A Perfect Stay Highly Recommend!

This was my first time renting through Furnished Finder, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience! The home is beautifully maintained, with a spacious backyard and peaceful surroundings. Its located in a quiet, safe neighborhood and conveniently close to major hospitals, Costco, and more. The landlord is amazing! She is incredibly gracious and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure I felt completely at home. I had full access to the house, and for any outdoor enthusiasts, she even offers the use of her kayak, bike, and other gear. One of the highlights? Her dog! An absolutely sweet, lovable companion! It was so comforting to have her around... but fair warning: you will get 100% attached! This place truly has everything a traveler could ask for in a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here. Youll love it, and wont regret it!

Poor hospitality

Some hosts don't understand that they are in the hospitality business. This is one of them. I felt like I was only being tolerated as a guest here rather than welcomed. . Pros 1. Place is clean and organized 2. Close to hospital 3. Very quiet for night shifters during the day. 4. Full kitchen with lots of space. Cons 1. Host is very intransigent. Good luck trying to communicate any criticism of any level to her. Very poor listener. 2. Wifi is terrible. Constantly cuts in and out. I voiced my concern about this and the host tells me to call spectrum because and I quote "Your rent doesn't cover apps". I just had to walk away cause what... 3. Host is VERY picky about her kitchen. Don't host if you're that sensitive about your kitchen being spotless. You're living with other ppl. She'll tell you to come wipe off any speck of food. That gets old very quickly. 4. Poor customer service. I don't recommend at all. Lady makes u feel like you're on eggshells the entire time.

Great location

I couldnt ask for a better stay! It was supposed to be 6 months but turned into almost 2 years. Michele was amazing. She treated me very good and respected my crazy hours. She is very helpful and knows the area. Her dog, Llexi, is the perfect house pet. Super lovable and quiet. I will be trying to stay there again when Im back in the area!

Home away from home.

If you are looking for a home away from home, then look no further. I had the opportunity to live with M for an entire year, and the crazy part is, it didnt even feel like a year. L (her friendly pup) was also a bonus roommate. But all amenities needed, she has them. The room is cozy and nicely decorated. M is adventurous and invites you along to join her. She has extra bikes and kayaks that you can use. Backyard is perfect for sitting out kicking your feet and relaxing (might spot an occasional deer). M treated me like family and my year in Redding would not have been the same had I lived anywhere else.

Great Place to stay

This property is only about 5minutes away from Mercy and easy access to downtown Redding. I had an absolutely wonderful time staying with Michele and am so glad I rented this room! Michele is full of local knowledge and ideas for fun things to do especially hiking and restaurant recommendations! She is friendly and inclusive; very inviting to participate in her outings/plans but also totally ok if you prefer being alone/not joining in. She is a respectful person to those she interacts with and is easy to get along with. I took this assignment to work with a friend, who I had initially expected to live with at the time, but am so glad that I ended up living with Michele! Her home was the perfect environment for me and I had an absolutely wonderful time there!

A Travelers Home away from Home.

Not to close but not to far away but everything one needs when experiencing a short stay. You feel right at home with a spacious room and private bath. If you have an adventurous side the property owner will lend an ear and point you in the right direction. Modern living with access to washer, dryer and dishwasher. off street parking. Wonderful stay what more can I other then I will be back again!!

An amazing way to connect in and with Redding!

A wonderful property owner who gives you all the privacy that you need but makes you feel included. She helped me find fun things to do and places to go in Redding so I didn't feel like a visitor to the area; I felt at home. Large private room with a sizeable private bath. Good lighting & front-facing window in the bedroom. Nicely decorated; an inviting & relaxing space. Good kitchen with refrigerator & counter space for preparing home-cooked meals. A huge backyard overlooking a canyon. Quiet neighborhood feels safe and secure. Keypad entry. Friendly dog who loves people. Very nice!
