The property was clean and had everything I needed, neighbors were friendly, and C was very quick to respond at all times. The neighborhood is quiet and the unit has blackout curtains - which is a huge plus for me as a Night Shift nurse! I enjoyed my time here and will definitely be coming back! Thank you C!

I stayed at this property with a coworker for six months. This was our second home when we were at work. It is small, but very cozy and the renters were amazing! They are very responsive. There were times that we didnt get to the place until like 10 PM, and we couldnt remember our passcode to get into the house and they would still respond very quickly to provide it to us. I always felt safe in the home and never had anyone straying around the property. The reason that we left is because our contract for work ended early, but if it hadnt, we for sure would have stayed longer :)

This is a beautiful and nice property for me and my travel partner to stay in during our contract. We liked it so much that we kept on extending our stay. The manager is very friendly and responsive, he addressed our concerns very quickly. Its close to our work and all the restaurant. I will recommend it to anyone who is needing a safe, clean and convenient place to rent in Austin.

Stayed here with my two pups! Place is in a good location and only took me about 15 minutes to get to Ascension Main. Felt safe here- being a single female. Only downfall was the couch was terribly uncomfortable. But I loved the mattress on the bed! Landlord was easy to communicate with. Didnt have any troubles with the utilities or plumbing. Oh and heat and AC worked great and thats a big thing for me! Would recommend to a traveling professional. Another traveler stayed in the back apartment so it was nice to have a neighbor that understood job demands and we were able to look out for each others amazon packages!

Sadly, my time in Austin is ending. However, my stay here was great. The duplex is near everything-hospitals, restaurants, parks. Very bikeable to many places including coffee shop, grocery and work. Bikes were stored in patio area and never had a problem. Delivery is also super easy from everything from grocery to Amazon to restaurants. Never felt unsafe or had any concerns about neighbors. As I am by-myself walking the dog a lot, this was very important. The other half of duplex was rented by another traveler. Apartment has everything you need-comfy bed, laundry, tv and reliable Wi-Fi. Landlord C was very responsive when I needed something.

HANDS DOWN, the WORST living situation I've EVER had. 1. The landlord lives in a trailer in the backyard. He doesn't advertise this. The washer and dryer is a combo washer/dryer-takes 3 hours to do one load of laundry and clothes still damp. There is NO water pressure in the shower. I couldn't get all the shampoo out of my hair when I washed it, and I felt extremely dirty. There was dirt all over the floor when I moved in and dust BALLS on the plates/bowls.The showerhead broke off. Was never fixed, even after landlord was aware of this. I simply opened the blinds, and they broke (which of course, I was charged for.) I got a plumbing leak, and C said the plumber found non-flushable wipes and held me responsible for over $300 worth of charges. I HAVE NEVER USED NON-FLUSHABLE WIPES. I didn't even know what they were. He refused to reason with this. He also REFUSED to provide me with a receipt of the plumbing services to prove the amount of money owed or if a plumber actually came.

Late response as I thought I had when it occurred. Plumbing worked with no issues for 3 weeks prior to tenant arrival (we stayed in the apartment during that time). Within a few days of arrival sewer backed up, and multiple flushable wipes were removed. Reminded tenant they are not to be flushed, per lease, and within about 3 more days had another issue. Tenant was charged for 2nd incident in full. It is in the lease to not use them, and initial boxes next to the clause. This is a duplex, you have a private yard and private laundry. Washer/dryer is a combo machine, no need to move items to wash and dry. Can set before leaving for work or overnight. It does take longer than normal, but doesnt need added attention to complete.

Very small but pretty and clean apartment . Everything worked fine. The couch is really small and almost on the ground. Very uncomfortable. Wifi only worked sometimes . Only 1 parking spot available , the second car parks on the street. A lot of homeless people around and I had to wake them up on 3 occasions to ask them to move so I could drive my car. No one ever bothered me or my car but it was unsettling to have them in front of my car at 6am. I moved to a safer neighborhood but have yet to hear from the owners to receive my deposit back. They were nice while I lived there but have been hard to get ahold of now .

Tenant extended nearly a month from original lease, never mentioned homeless previously to us. (Try to find a neighborhood in Austin without them currently). I reached out about return of deposit about a week after they moved out, due to one person extended other left the area... had to create a release form to send deposit to one person. Tenant had payment within 1 day of signed release. Parking situation is clearly discussed in advertisement. Love that she filed the review before she signed the release for the deposit. We are pretty easy going. Let us know when you have a problem, we will do what we can to help. Other than that we try to leave you alone.

My Fiancee and I are travel Nurses that had the pleasure to stay at the Berger house for the length of our contract in Austin. The house is very conveniently located near several of the Austin hospitals and popular dining / shopping areas. The house itself has a cozy fenced in side yard that was perfect for our fury pup to soak up some rays. The kitchen if fully equipped and OMG the shower in the beautiful bathroom was amazing. Managers are friendly and very responsive with any concerns. Overall I would recommend this affordable home to anyone traveling to Austin in the long or short term.
