Highly recommend this place

I stayed with Don and Lisa for about 3 months, it was an absolute pleasure. Great, peaceful area, and Don/Lisa were always super caring and thoughtful to so many of my needs. Highly recommend staying here to anyone out there. Was a pleasure getting to know them in my stay here!

An absolute wonderful place to stay!

An absolute wonderful place to stay! I was here for a little over 3 months while working in Woodstock and absolutely loved staying here. The apartment was clean and tidy and stocked with everything you could need. Don and Lisa were fabulous hosts and were so kind and generous with their space. They were so welcoming and truly made me feel at home here. They have a beautiful quiet property perfect to come home to after a long day of work and I was routinely greeted by their sweet fur babies which was always the highlight of my day. I enjoyed getting to know Don and Lisa and sitting out by the fire catching up in the evenings. I will so miss living here! Thank you both so much for your hospitality, wishing you all the best!

Home Away from Home

I stayed here for 3 months while I was in Georgia for work, and from day 1 I knew I'd be leaving an amazing review. I had 3 months to think of exactly what I was going to say, but at the end of my stay, I'm struggling to find the words to convey just how amazing of a time I had here. Don and Lisa are not just exceptional hosts, they're amazing people. They are kind, generous, gracious, caring, loving, thoughtful, and beyond hospitable. The place itself is an amazing oasis, nestled in nature and backing on to Lake Allatoona, but what really makes this place home is Don and Lisa. Seriously, I can't express enough how great they are. They go above and beyond what's required, and they do so with genuine love. I can confidently say that had it not been for them, my time in Georgia would've been significantly different. You'll show up as a stranger, but I promise you within one day you'll be family. I love them dearly and was very sad to leave, but am very blessed to have met them!

Wonderful stay!

We were moving to the area from out of state and needed a furnished apartment until we could buy a house. We were so lucky to find this apartment and so grateful to L and D for being so hospitable and welcoming. They offered us so much good advice and suggestions. We expected to stay longer but surprisingly we found a house quickly. It was so restful to return to this quiet and lovely spot after a hectic day doing all the things you need to do when you move. We loved the woods and the lake. As much as we wanted to move into our new house, we missed not staying longer. This property is a real gem!

I wish I could have stayed longer!

D and L are the best hosts anyone can ask for! I stayed here for 3 months and wish I didn't have to leave. They are very welcoming and willing to provide anything you may need. The bed was very comfortable (I am now wanting to purchase a sleep number for myself because I slept so well on it). The pillows and couch were great too. The tv is large, the bathroom area is spacious, and the window view is lovely. When I had a flat tire, D drove to pick me up and went out the next day and took off the tire, got a new tire from the store, and put it on my car for me. They were often inviting me downstairs for food, drink, campfire, or to just hang out. Their dogs are sweet and greet you everyday when you drive up. Their house is a short, pretty walk through trees from the lake. The big laundry room for this studio is right down the stairs connected to the apartment in the host's house with large washer/dryer units. I will sincerely miss living in that studio and seeing D and L.

Magical place, Wonderful hosts!

Beautiful cottage! The decor is beautiful and everything needed is at your fingertips! L and D are extremely attentive and nice! Quiet and cozy!

Wonderful Stay!

I had a wonderful long term stay here working as a travel nurse. The host, L, and her husband D were very accommodating and friendly. The property is clean and has all the amenities you need. The house is right on the lake which is a bonus! They also have two very sweet dogs and friendly neighbors.

AMAZING!

This place is beautiful! You can ask for better Hosts, Amazing people. Its is clean, quite, Comfortable, and very peaceful! I really felt at home. I will definitely will be staying again.

Beautiful Cottage

I had a great experience living in this cottage. It is in a beautiful location off of the lake, and the cottage is equipped with everything you will ever need. It is very clean and modern, and feels bigger than your average studio. Lisa and Don are the best landlords we have ever had. They go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of their tenants. Trust me when I say you will love it here.

Wonderful place to stay

The apartment was wonderful, bed comfortable nice size rooms. Lisa and Don were great landlords always available when needed. Beautiful property on the water, nice area outside for a fire at night to roast marshmallows. Have some wonderful dogs who welcome you every day when you come in from work. I would love to stay there again and when my contract was over and time to leave I had to leave my 2 new friends. Loved staying there with y'all and would love to come back sometimes. cottage oasis

Best experience ever! If you are a traveler or just need a weekend getaway, this is the place to do it! This is truly a home away from home with the best people! The cottage is beautiful with everything you will ever need and the location is absolutely breathtaking! I truly encourage everyone to give this place a try!

Great place to stay!

Very cute and private cottage located in a beautiful, wooded area nearby the Marina. The cottage had everything I needed for a pleasant stay during my travel nurse assignment in nearby Marietta, GA. Lisa and Don were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay during my time there. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay while traveling!
