Recommend to anybody - great experience!

I'm writing this review a bit late, but I've read some of the more recent reviews and it's really nice to see nothing has changed. These hosts were extremely accommodating with the most homey touches - sourdough bread was a favorite; we even swapped homemade soups and recipes. I had the pleasure of staying in both the Balcony suite and the King suite - could not go wrong with either. There was more than enough space in both suites for when my family visited. I enjoyed the privacy of all the amenities behind one door of the King suite. The hot tub was always available and was extremely relaxing, especially since the Tayberry is tucked away in an area that feels countryside-like - which also made for a very safe stay. Lastly, while it felt like staying with extended family, it was mostly because I interacted with them in their space - they were gracious about giving the other tenant and I our privacy on our side of the cottage. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Outstanding! The best!

My wife and I have been location independent for 5.5 years. This was the place we felt most like staying with family (in the best way). Vicki and Terry and their mother were so welcoming, fun and happy to share their little piece of heaven that we felt lucky to be there. And what a deal! Farmhouse feel, the bedroom and living area/kitchen and bathroom were separate but private rooms in a shared upstairs, but had everything we needed. The bedroom was spacious, the bed was SUPER comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the balcony was small, but had a beautiful view. Puyallup was nice with plenty of places to go walking and easy access to Seattle and Tacoma. But it was the small touches that made this feel so at home; Baked bread and cookies, they taught me pinocle, had us for dinner, went out to play trivia with us and met up at the state fair. Highly recommended.

If you are traveling to Puyallup, stay here. This was one of the best experiences I've had as a traveler. Vicki and Terry are amazing hosts and everything is taken care of. I was so grateful to be cared for by this lovely couple. My first day was really stressful from moving to starting a new assignment and Vicki showed up at my door with dinner. It was such a kindness. The spa is a wonderful way to unwind from the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There were even cookies by the front door every day! I cannot recommend this space enough! Thank you for welcoming me into your home.

Could not recommend this place more! Beautiful property on a private road with the kindest hosts. I worked in Auburn during my stay there and it was an easy commute. This property is located near downtown puyallup which during the summer has a great farmers market and it has a lot of cute shops and restaurants.

Tayberry Cottage Balcony Suite

I am a Travel Nurse. My husband and I stayed at this location while I was on contract with Good Samaritan Hospital. The location was fantastic, It took less than 10 minutes to get to work depending on the traffic (my husband is pretty good at finding shortcuts and he did not disappoint). T, V and her mother, R were excellent hosts. I actually fell in love with her 92 year old mother and her dog Riley. Kind, considerate, friendly, welcoming and personable describes them to a tee. I would absolutely recommend this location if your travels lead you to Puyallup, WA. We were there July thru October and the weather was fantastic; in the 70's and 80's. It was starting to cool off just prior to the end of my contract. We missed the rain!

The perfect place to complete your travel nurse experience!

V and T were incredible hosts that went above and beyond in their hospitality. They truly treated us as family and created a home away from home. We stayed in the King Suite and it was the perfect set up for travel nursing. The space was very clean, spacious, and quiet (for those night shifters)- it had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect after long shifts and overlooks a beautiful piece of land. If you want a unique experience traveling, this is the place for you. V had sweet treats in the entry way for us every day, left sweet notes for us, and always made sure we were taken care of. It is in a perfect location to easily explore the rest of Washington.

Great homey place with amazing owners

Tayberry Cottage is the perfect place to stay if you want a comfy atmosphere with some privacy. The king suite is spacious and cozy and has a perfect little attached living room. Terri and Vicki the owners are kind and helpful. Its on the outskirts which makes it nice and quiet but just a few minute drive to all the amenities in Puyallup and 15-20 min to Tacoma.

Wonderful

I am a traveling technologist working in Tacoma for several months. This large and comfortable space has easily met all of my needs from the separate sitting room to the kitchenette and king size bed. There is a private bath in the suite as well. Vicki and Terri, the bed and breakfast owners, have been amazing and made sure I had everything I need. If you are looking for a quiet comfy place while working away from home, I would definitely recommend Tayberry Cottage!
