Home away from home

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at L.R.'s for a full year, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about both the property and the her as a person. From the very beginning, the she was gracious, helpful, and consistently kind—always available when needed and genuinely invested in making my stay comfortable. What stood out most was how I was treated not just as a tenant, but as family. That level of care and personal attention is rare and made my experience incredibly special. Any questions or needs were handled promptly and with warmth, creating a sense of ease and trust throughout my entire stay. The home itself was well-maintained, comfortable, and a joy to live in for short or long-term. It truly felt like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend this L.R.'s home to anyone considering it. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel valued, supported, and genuinely welcomed, this is it. You won’t be disappointed!

Great Stay!

I stayed in LF's beautifully maintained home for 6 months while working at MLK Community Hospital. It was a quick 15 min drive to work and 20 to 25 mins from both major airports. The cozy room and private bathroom are located within a safe and gated subdivision, with ample parking. The grounds are well maintained and safe to take your evening or morning stroll. Another big bonus is having access to the pool and hot tub during your stay. LF is very easy to get along with and goes with the flow. We actually ended up hanging out and even doing our meal prep together at times! On the other hand, If you need peace and quiet, she respects that as well. I always felt comfortable and it was a great experience for me being my first room rental. I will definitely stay again if the opportunity presents.

Quiet & Comfortable

Overall a great experience! If you're looking for something in a quiet neighborhood that feels safe with a comfortable bed, this place is perfect! About 15 minute drive from St Francis Medical and within 30 minutes of at ton of great study spots and tons of places to eat at different price points. The room is cozy and even has a study corner! There's a tv, fans and AC. The bathroom is clean with hot water and good water pressure. There's plenty of storage space in your area. Shared areas are clean and have everything you'd need for a good stay. I would like highly recommend this spot and encourage others to get give it a shot!

Incredible Stay

I feel so fortunate to have been able to stay in this lovely house with LF. She was a wonderful host who provided a clean and spacious place for me to stay during my final clinical rotation located in Hawthorne. I felt safe within the gated community and my commute to work was so manageable (I didn't have to take highways thank goodness, although they were close for easy access to explore outside of typical commuting hours). I would not hesitate to recommend staying with LF to any of my fellow students or traveler friends. It was bittersweet to bid her farewell. Thanks for everything!

Phenomenal Stay

L.F was an awesome host. I definitely highly recommend this stay if you need a place in a convenient location between Long Beach and Los Angeles. This gated community is also within 15- 20 minutes to the airport. It is clean and spacious and the neighborhood lay out is great for running/ walking. I will definitely be sharing this with my other traveler friends so dont think twice about booking or youll miss this experience.

Shes an amazing land lady!

I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! She probably the most understanding, caring woman Ive ever stayed with. Her house is beautiful as well and you get your own bathroom which is a plus! Shes always proactive and helping to make your stay easier by showing you places to go and planning things! I give her 6 stars Bc 5 stars isnt enough! Truly felt like home! Thank you for everything!

Gated community

LaFonda has a wonderful home. Quaint and cozy and not to mention exceptionally kept. If I ever need to come back to LA and this property is available there would be no hesitation my first choice. I instantly felt welcome and LaFonda is a great hostess as she has figured the needs of the travel nurse while staying at her home. Plenty of amenities and close to the highway!! Oh, LaFonda is a native so shes extremely helpful when trying to get around. So dont waste time book for your travel assignment dont let this gem get away.

Wonderful Property

LaFonda was such a great host. I have traveled before but I had a place with friends in the Bay Area. So upon arriving to LA I was nervous. I expressed ALL my concerns to LaFonda and she had did her homework and was aware of travel nurses needs while on assignment. I met her initially to see her home and the area. Instantly I felt relaxed and her home was very clean and organized. Also you have a nice sized room walk-in closet, private bath and laundry within steps of each other. Great community, small subdivision, access to amenities and its gated. Wonderful experience.
