Great Experience

Quiet neighborhood with minimal street noise, a smooth rental process, and the best landlord Ive had since graduating college eight years ago! My brother and I initially signed a shorter lease but extended it to six months because of our great experience. Miss Jane is responsive, easy to reach, and always gives advance notice if maintenance needs access to the basement or needs to access storage/a suitcase or something. The space itself was perfect for us, featuring a full kitchen, washer & dryer, den/office, two bedrooms with ample closet space, and a secure passcoded entrance. Parking was always easy with plenty of street parking available. This experience was so positive that I plan to use Furnished Finder exclusively for future rentals. Highly recommended!

Good Stay

This was a very spacious and comfy space. It is conveniently located near the bus stop. I was working at the FDA and it was a two second walk and five minute bus ride to the facility. The host was also very generous and flexible.

Wonderful Property

This property was spacious and clean. It's in a prime location with access to both Hwy 29 or 495, as well as a short drive to the Silver Spring Metro Station which will take you right to DC. The property was stocked with any product you could possibly need from pots and pans to stain removers. The hosts are extremely friendly and I could not recommend this place more!

Very Cozy, Clean, and Peaceful

I was vey blessed to get this apartment. It is very cozy, clean, and peaceful. The pictures are really what the apartment and the area look like. Miss J is very professional, friendly, and welcoming. I was very pleased with the accommodations, as they have exceeded my expectations. This basement apartment is very spacious with a very nice size kitchen that is fully stocked with the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The 2 bedrooms have really large closets, and the bathroom has a good size shower. The extra room has a table for eating and a desk area, and the living room has a large screen TV. Most important, the place is super clean! There is plenty of parking on the street in front of the house/apartment, and the neighbor is quiet, safe, and clean. Miss J keeps the yard and entrance/steps to the apartment clear of leaves, and there is good lighting at night. I highly recommend this apartment. I have really enjoyed my stay here.

Spacious, Cozy, Quiet

I found this two bedrooms plus den to be a spacious, quiet, cozy, and well lit basement apartment.As marketed it is indeed clean, well maintained, and has kitchen and dinning utensils that would easily allow for preparation and serving for 4 to 6 guests. The host (J) was accessible with tons of information about the DC Metro area. The back yard garden is accessible which surprised me with the amount of birds songs. The availability of ample street parking in-front of and beside the house was comforting. All in all a great place to stay, relax or work (den has a work desk). I would most certainly book this place again on my next trip to DC Metro. Thank you J for being a wonderful host.

Cozy and clean

This place had everything we needed and it was very clean and comfortable. Ms J and her family were super welcoming and helpful. The whole experience staying in their property was awesome and we highly recommend this place.

Very responsive owner!!! Well appointed and comfortable apartment that was perfect for a night shifter that needed to sleep during the day!

Quiet and Secure

This apartment is perfect. Secure by digital passcode, quiet. Perfect 2 bedroom with full kitchen, cook in or call DoorDash, they are fast. Easy drive to Holy Cross, easy access to Hwy 29 or 495. Move in ready- Clean and stocked with products from First Aid kit to Laundry Detergent. Bedrooms have full dressers and large closets. Highly Recommend.

Quiet basement space for 2

Located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood with street parking on the side. We were able to find space for 2 cars no problem. The house itself had nice big bedrooms and closets to fit everything with space left over. There is an inner den space that was good for working from home during Covid. The kitchen has everything you need but space can be a little tight for 2+ people or multiple dishes being prepared at once. The landlady will contact you in advance if she needs something from the space. We had to extend the lease during our stay and it was easy to do so after talking with her. Something that might not be listed is that you need to go down a set of stairs to access the basement. Since it is a lower area, there are some bugs that get in but not too many.

Appreciation

I stayed at this property for 6 months and had a quite pleasant stay. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The property was clean throughout and so were all the utensils, furniture and everything provided. The landlord is hands on if ever anything needs to be fixed or looked at which was barely any , and a pleasant person as well. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay here

Quiet retreat

The apartment is roomy and comfortable. It was perfect for me as I worked nights and windows have light blocking curtains. Response time was within minutes. The landlady was very kind and gracious. Always looking out for me. I appreciated that as I travel alone as a Respiratory Therapist. I would definitely rent here again.
