Home Away From Home

As a first time traveler, I was nervous about finding housing. A made this such a seamless move! She is communicative, responsive and so kind. The property itself is absolutely stunning. It is peaceful and quiet. I spent many mornings on the patio enjoying the space and afternoons in the hammock reading. There is a beautiful fire pit that is accessible for tenants as well. The apartment is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious & fully loaded with necessary cleaning, kitchen, living room, bedding essentials, etc. The bathroom and shower are so luxuriously & uniquely designed. I felt at home in this apartment. The laundry is shared, however, that was not an issue as the tenants upstairs were wonderful. Since it is a basement apartment, you can occasionally hear foot steps and voices from upstairs but I never felt like it was disruptive and would have felt comfortable communicating with A or upstairs tenants if it became too loud. I loved my stay and am so sad to be moving on!

Just want to mention a few things...

Overall my stay at A's was decent but when it was time to check out we did not do a walkthrough because she went out of town and she only gave me back $850 of my $1000 deposit so make sure you do a walk through and take pictures. She seemed cool so I felt comfortable not doing a walk through but I regret that now. I have 50 5 star reviews on Airbnb so I'm definitely a respectful, clean tenant. Also, I do not recommend staying there during the summer. You're on the basement part of the house so I had spiders, bees, and wasps that got into the unit. On top of that, for half my stay the unit smelled like rotten eggs due to a septic issue. One final thing to mention is every Sunday night she does a big gathering with her family and it gets very loud and footsteps can be heard easily from downstairs so if you have to get up early for work Monday mornings I do not recommend it. Unforgettable Stay

I lived at the Cottage for two months while traveling for an internship, and my stay in these wonderful accommodations definitely made my summer unforgettable. The space has more than enough room for one or two people. A large kitchen complete with top-of-the-line appliances, a beautifully renovated bathroom with a tiled shower, a washer and dryer, and a living room equipped with homey furniture and a TV ensure that your stay is comfortable. The host is very hospitable and went out of her way to ensure that I felt welcome and safe in Lakewood (I am a 22-year-old female). A great place to stay!

a great place to live

I spent 6 months at this property as a travel nurse and it was fantastic. Andrea is a great landlord who was always responsive to anything that needed fixed or done in a timely manner but nothing really needed done while I was there as the place is pretty newly renovated. It is within 15 minutes of downtown Denver and the commute up to boulder isn't bad either. Parking is convenient and you have a nice patio as well. This place really was just what I needed, all updated appliances, in unit washer and dryer, and a pull out couch if I ever had guests over.

Cozy Cottage, Home Away from Home

We had a lovely and comfortable stay in this cozy and spacious cottage, which felt like a home away from home. Immaculate and clean with a modern, well-stocked kitchen for easy dining. Luxurious, sectional couch and entertainment center In living room provided relaxing space. Sunny porch made mornings very pleasant. The downstairs bedroom suite is comfortable and private, with a beautifully remodeled designer bathroom. Convenient to both Boulder and Denver, its a perfect location.
